June 23, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

For those who are big fans of bak kut  teh, you will definitely love the bkt here. This newly open bak kut teh is located in Kuchai Lama. Operated less than 6 months, their bkt really delicious where one will definitely come back for more.

Originated from Teluk Intan, the bkt recipe is inherited from one of the famous bkt seller.

This recipe is being inherited for more than 3 generations and here you go with the born of this bkt restaurant in Kuchai Lama which named” The Hawker’s BKT”.  Grab your choice of bak kut teh if you prefer them in soup or dry.

The Hawker Traditional Bak Kut Teh ( 1 pax )

The Hawker Traditional BKT is the recipe from an Old Timer Chef. The Bak Kut Teh comes with the aromatic flavours of the soup where there are packed with the herb’s flavours. As for the ingridients, they have the 3 layer pork, pork ribs, intestines and more. Nicely done.

Dried Bak Kut Teh in Claypot

One of the crowd’s favourite is their dry bak kut teh. Their bkt comes awesomely good where they comes with the kick of light spiciness and the aromatic hint of the dry chilies in it.

猪大哥的猪大骨
Pork Big Bone

You can also order their pork big bone which comes huge. Full of collagen and the meat is tender and juicy too!

Asides from that, one can add-on with their delicious sides such as Pork Kidney with Rice Wine (超补的黄酒猪腰) , Char Kuey (没有豆浆的油条) , Enoki Mushroom in BKT Soup (巴刹买的金针菇) , Button Mushroom in BKT Soup (将被吃掉的蘑菇), Stewed Pork Intestine ( 一层一层千层肠) and many more.

And must have with it is their Rice with Pork Lard  ( 意难忘猪油渣饭) where the rice is fragrantly cooked and topped with the generous pork lard on top .. OH my this is just heavenly.

If you are looking for an awesomely delicious bak kut teh meal in Kuchai Lama,  this is of course the place to visit.
