Pici Lai Chi Kok Now Open: Simply Delicious Pasta Brought to New Kowloon

June 11, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Now open, Pici Lai Chi Kok is ready to indulge guests with fresh homemade pasta. Pici LCK has launched following the extraordinary success of the brand in neighborhoods as diverse as Wanchai, Central, TST and Shatin. A casual dining restaurant, guests can anticipate delectable yet simple dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients.

A fast-growing and developing neighborhood, Lai Chi Kok is a  community that contributes to the city’s thriving economy and fashion scene. A neighborhood home to families, friends, businesses and fashion outlets, Pici joins the community with a fresh take on quality dining that boasts great value for money.

The Pici brand has made waves in Hong Kong’s culinary scene since its initial launch in Wan Chai. Harnessing traditional and straightforward cooking techniques, the restaurant offers classic Italian starters and pastas boasting rich flavours. Exclusively crafted for the new Pici restaurant, the Prawn Casoncelli will surely win over the hearts and stomachs of local foodies. Featuring squid ink Casoncelli pasta (a type of ravioli), crab, prawn, tomato sauce, bisque and chilli, the dish will pack a vibrant kick. Heading up the team is Head Chef Andrea Viglione who has been with the Pici brand since the beginning. With a knack for crafting simple yet simply delicious pasta dishes, he will indulge guests with authentic Italian flavours.

“Pici’s success has surpassed all of my expectations, with each new outlet fulfilling a gap in the industry that we didn’t know existed,” says Head Chef Andrea Viglione of Pici. “We are delighted to bring our homemade pasta to Lai Chi Kok and we are looking forward to meet old and new friends of Pici.”

From within the confines of the modern and welcoming interior of Pici Lai Chi Kok, guests will feel right at home.

“Pici LCK is a new and fresh interpretation of the modern, relaxed and casual pasta bar,” says award-winning interior designer Samantha Eades. “We’ve included touches of what makes the restaurant feel familiar, like warm timbers, tan leather seating and marble benches coupled with pops of red. The new Pici space is a lively and engaging one that ensures you will have a good time!”

Home to blossoming businesses, fashion brands and numerous families, Lai Chi Kok has welcomed Pici, a restaurant that brings new vitality to the culinary scene.
