It was recently revealed at a closed tasting session held in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur.
Attended by the members of the media and The Guardians of The Glenlivet from The Malaysian Chapter, Single Malt enthusiasts were treated to the tasting of The Glenlivet 18YO Single Cask Edition (Cask 8032) in an exploration of the pure, rare and unique expression of the latest limited edition from The Definitive Single Malt.
Set to be a coveted collectors’ item, there are only 276 bottles of this definitive Speyside Single Malt available. Drawn from an individual Second fill Hogshead cask by The Glenlivet’s expert team, The Glenlivet 18YO Single Cask Edition (Cask 8032) is a tribute to The Glenlivet’s rich heritage and wealth of expertise. No two casks are ever the same and the result is a rare and distinctive taste.
Matured for 18 years before being bottled at cask strength and 60.5% ABV without chill-filtration, The Glenlivet 18YO Single Cask Edition (Cask 8032) captures the incredibly rich and distinct flavour of the cask itself, locking in its character, resulting in an elegant combination of delicate floral aromas and fresh orchard fruits, leaving you with an incredibly soft, sweet and slightly dry finish.
Each bottle of The Glenlivet 18YO Single Cask Edition (Cask 8032) is individually numbered and presented in a hand-crafted wooden box to echo the craftsmanship that went into the whisky within.

An Unforgettable Night Centred On Exceptional Experiences
Instead of only having to taste the whisky in the standard rock glass, guests had the opportunity to savour their first dram of The Glenlivet 18 YO Single Cask Edition (Cask 8032) in one of the world ́s best spirits glass aptly named The Neat Glass. Specifically flown in just for the event, the award winning NEAT glass enhanced the tasting experience as it allows the pure bouquet of The Glenlivet 18 YO Single Cask Edition (Cask 8032) to come, offering the guests another dimension to taste this highly coveted whisky in its purest form.
Another highlight of the evening, the guests were introduced to T’lur, Malaysia’s first local tropical caviar. Produced in Malaysia, T’lur caviar is harvested fresh from local-bred Siberian Sturgeon with no preservatives, making it a unique and the perfect accompaniment to the luxury of The Glenlivet 18 YO Single Cask Edition (8032).
The event ended with guests enjoying some delectable canapes expertly curated from the treasures of both sea and land served together with The Glenlivet’s core range featuring The Glenlivet Founders Reserve, 12 Year Old, 15 Year Old and 18 Year Old, leaving everyone with a moment of true definitive pleasures to close off the evening.
The Glenlivet has released its Single Cask Edition to meet an insatiable demand from Single Malt lovers for rare, prestigious and collectable Scotch whiskies. Only a limited amount of bottles will be made available to The Glenlivet Guardians Malaysian Chapter for purchase within the next two weeks before they are being sold nationwide to the participating outlets and e-commerce platforms in Malaysia from 26th June onwards:
