The Shilla Seoul Welcomes Summer with ‘Urban Days’ Package

May 9, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

As the temperatures rise, The Shilla Seoul provides guests with the ultimate summer experience at Urban Island. The hotel’s expansive luxury outdoor leisure area provides guests with an all-in-one retreat to relax, connect with nature and enjoy poolside service.

Recently reopened to welcome the warmer weather, The Shilla Seoul’s Urban Island invites guests to dive into the tranquility of the outdoor heated pools, soothe tired muscles in the Jacuzzi, or soak up the sun at the rooftop garden with Namsan Mountain and the Seoul skyline serving as the picture-perfect backdrop. For guests who seek a private retreat, the cosy cabanas are dotted throughout the lush greenery, creating sheltered, exclusive hideaways.

To celebrate the summer months, The Shilla Seoul has launched an “Urban Days” package. Offering all the essentials for the perfect family getaway (for a minimum two-night stay), the enticing package includes:

–       Accommodation in the Deluxe Room or Business Deluxe Room

–       Complimentary all-day access to the Urban Island outdoor pool (open daily from 10am)

–       USD 50 credit for a one-time use at The Shilla Seoul’s restaurants The Library & Bar and Pastry Boutique and in-room dining (excluding minibar)

–       Complimentary access to the indoor pool facilities and gym

Available until June 30 2019, Urban Days room rates start from KRW 320,000 per night, exclusive of taxes and service charges and based on two persons sharing a room.

To complete the total summer experience, Urban Island presents its all-new “4 Hands Burger”. Designed for guests with an appetite for variety, the exclusive 4-Hands Burger comprises four popular flavours – cheese, chicken, teriyaki and shrimp – and is served with a side order of fries.

A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, The Shilla Seoul takes its name from the ancient Shilla Dynasty – regarded as the most culturally prosperous period in history – the hotel was inspired by the elegance and achievements of the era. With its prestige location, impeccable service, and modern design, the property is constantly ranked among Korea’s most in-demand destinations.

Situated in the heart of the city against a backdrop of Mount Namsan, The Shilla Seoul is surrounded by Seoul’s must-see attractions and key districts. The property’s 464 exquisitely appointed guest rooms and suites and elegant public spaces were refurbished in 2013 by award-winning designer Peter M. Remedios. The new look of Korea’s most iconic hotel showcases a refreshing, modern sensibility while keeping traditional Korean cultural elements deeply embedded within the property.
