“Jom Makan”@ Paya Serai, Hilton Petaling Jaya

In the month of Ramadan this year, Hilton Hotels in Malaysia invites guests to dine with Jom Makan at Hilton –  a special celebration of food and culture inspired by Ramadan’s true spirit of giving and sharing. Bringing back last year’s successful “Jom Makan” theme, Hilton hotels in Malaysia encourages guests to dine together as the sun sets while relishing the companionship of many.

As Malaysians, we are brought together by the diverse and unique flavours of our food. Hence the theme “Jom Makan”, a local lingo that is affectionately embraced by all Malaysians. It is a joyful merriment of good food, get-togethers and a time to celebrate with loved ones. This year throughout the fasting month, Hilton Petaling Jaya will be highlighting a widespread of all-time favorite Malaysian cuisine.

With over 350 authentic dishes served, diners are definitely spoilt for choice. Hilton Petaling Jaya the iconic hotel in Petaling Jaya will portray a unique theme that showcases a journey of Paya Serai, the all-day dining restaurant’s 35 years of nostalgia. 

Starts your meal with their awesome mix seafood bar where one will be enjoying the awesome cold-cuts. This includes the prawns, mussels. Squid rings, boiled crab and the black lip mussel served on the bed on ice with the variety choices of dressing by the sides.

Don’t miss it out their Asian Appetisers where  they have the Sotong Kangkong, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Gado Gado, Kerabu, Acar Counter, Minag Kam, Daging Salai and many more. Nothing beats the traditional Malay Delights from the spread where you can savour the fullest on their Ulam Ulaman. Sides your meal with their belachan, cencalok, budu, sambal mangga, sambal petai and many more.

As for the local appetisers, you will definitely be pampered with the choices of keropok , crackers, ikan masin goreng belanda, telor masin, ikan sepat goreng bawang, cencalok and many more.

After enjoying a satisfying appetisers, move on to their Briyani Station which you will be pampered with the Kambing Goreng Sumbat, Nasi Briyani, Dalca Sayor, Cucumber Ratha, Papadom  and many more. They do have Nasi Kandar Station as well which definitely tempt you till the fullest with their wide choices of curries. Drenched your plate of rice with their signature kari ikan, ikan goreng mamak, sotng goreng mamak, ayam goreng mamak and many more.

As for their sekawah station, one can have their gulai kawah ikan, gulai ikan semilang, siput sedut masak lemak, itik masak kapitan, kerrang singang and many more. Hilton Petaling Jaya also brings the best lemang specialities too which they have the lemang jagung, pulut hitam and oulut.

Live Stations includes the fried station where you will be pampered with the mee goreng mamak, koay teow goreng, sup gear box, grilled seafood, tempura stations, Middle East Food Stations, Dim Sum Station, Steamboat Station, Pasta Stations, Roti Stations, Claypot Stations and the Indian Live Counters.

Ends your meals with the variety chocies of desserts which includes Tau Fo Fah, Island of Ice cream, Bread and Butter Pudding, Goreng Pisang, aneka Kuih Muih Melaya, Pengat and Bubur pisang, labu, keledek,  Biskut Timbang, Chilled Pudding, Cake Counter and of course the Durian Station.
