W1 Dining and Cocktails @ Bangsar

April 5, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

For the love of the delicious food, W1 is one of the place to visit. Located in Bangsar, W1 Dining and Cocktails brings you a modern twist of the British Pub.

With the name W1 which stands for West1 ( area) in London, they brings you with the awesome food-licious delights which are served from this area to the patrons here.
The warm ambience with the beautiful artworks is something that brings up the overall ambience. We love the space here where they are cosy and not too dark
but yet a great place for some drink and also nice dining experience too. And for their menu, they come up with the vast variety and putting in the local influence to the menu as the twist.

W1 Scotch Egg
We started with their signature scotch egg. The W1 scotch egg is beautifully prepared and the soft boiled egg is served together with the warm beef crust
curried with the aioli and pickled red onions. The scotch egg comes awesomely good with the creamy texture from the soft boiled egg and the aromatic warm
beef crust.
Jiaozi
A twist with some Chinese influence in it, the duck dumplings are served with black vinegar and mushroom XO sauce. The jiaoxi comes with deliciously good with the moist and juicy meat in the inside and the kick of spiciness in it.
Butter Fish Tikka Marsala (RM 25)
One of the signatures here, the Butter Fish brings you with the crispy bites and it is simply addictive. It is served together with the almond cream, okra tempura and green chilli.

Char Grilled Tiger Prawn with sliced potato and sauce vierge

Prawns lover is welcome to fill up your tummy with the tiger prawn. The tiger prawns are exquisitely prepared and char till fragrant. Sides with the sliced potato and sauce vierge.

Pan Seared Seabass (RM 38)
Grab this awesomely prepared seabass where the seabass is beautifully pan fried till perfection. It is then being served with the tangy lime, ginger orange and
greens.
This is one of my favourites as I am totally in love with the tangy sweet and sourish flavours and the taste is simply enticing.

Good
Old Mac and Cheese
The Good Old Mac and Cheese is something to look forward. The Mac and Cheese are served with the creamy bites of cheese with it. Every mouthful of the cheese comes aromatic and mouth-watering as well. And in here, they are served together with the spicy beef sausage which makes the overall dish even more
appetizing and delicious.
Fish and Chips
Don’t miss out the crisply prepared fish and chips. The delicious fish and chips come with the battered seabass and sides with the fat English chops and mushy peas. The fish comes simply fresh and texture is flaky too. Love the bites of the fish & chips so much.

Steak Diane
Fill up your tummy with the Steak Diane. The delicious and tender juicy grain-fed chilled sirloin ( 200g) is perfectly made and served together with the roasted
potatoes and the creamy honey mustard sauce. It’s meat is perfect to my tastebuds and every mouthful simply divine.

And of course, ends your meal with their signature desserts. The Eton Mess is one of a must to try here where you will definite to melts your mouth and filled them with a sweet smile after a bite. The meringue together with strawberries, sorbet and yoghurt cream are beautifully served.

The chocolate truffle cubes is another signature here. Have the chocolate truffle cubes which is served together with the coffee crème, blueberry and hazelnut in
one goal. Melts your mouth with the tasty indulgence and heavenly one.
With the beautifully curated dishes by W1culinary team, you are assured going home with a satisfying meal and sweet dreams for sure. For more
