ENTIER PRESENTS A 4-COURSE CHEF’S SHARING MENU THIS VALENTINE’S DAY

February 9, 2019 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Promotion Leave a Comment

This Valentine’s Day, Entier presents a four-course Chef’s Sharing Menu for your intimate dinner on this occasion of love and celebration. Perched on the 41st level of the sexy black building housing lifestyle hotel Alila Bangsar, Entier is the perfect place to wine and dine with your valentine.

Ready your taste buds for this French dinner experience with an amuse bouche of Escargot & Chicken Liver Pate. The four-course dinner curated by Executive Chef Masashi Horiuchi begins with Baby Cuttlefish with Basil Ice-cream – a salad of marinated and sautéed baby cuttlefish, house-made stracciatella cheese, heirloom tomato and herbs, balanced by a refreshing house-made basil ice-cream. The appetizer – Salmon Confit with Kombu Cream & Salmon Roe, features house-cured Scottish salmon accompanied by seaweed dashi, sorrel, purple seaweed, and topped with a bounty of salmon roe.

Moving on to entrée, Chef Masashi presents three choices for the couple: Beef Short Rib with Truffle, Chicken Leg or Lobster (with an addition of RM115). The tender Beef Short Rib with Truffle features a slow-braised Australian short rib gorgeously plated alongside beef bacon, pea puree, pomegranate, hazelnut crust, and elevated with topping of sliced black truffle. If you have a preference for chicken, Entier includes in this menu one of its famed and all-time favourite Chicken Leg – oven-baked Anxin chicken with morel sauce, creamy mashed potato, daun kesum and leek. The highlight for this Valentine’s Day Chef’s Sharing Menu is Lobster – whole Maine lobster in a nasi lemak risotto, with hints of milky coconut and bites of squid in the risotto. Lastly, finish the meal with a dessert of Sweet Medley – a trio presentation of souffle, ‘milk’ and house-made ice-cream.

Placing as much importance on the non-meat eaters, Chef Masashi also prepared a 4-course Vegetarian Menu. This four-course individually-plated vegetarian menu (can be done in sharing style as well for the couple) starts with an amuse bouche of Spinach Cheese Ball & Vegetable Tart. Opening the first course with Vegetable Garden followed by an appetizer of Trio of Vegetables with Truffle – done beautifully with leek, eggplant & cauliflower. The entrée is a crowd favourite amongst vegetarians, Truffle Pasta – sautéed buckwheat pasta in olive oil topped with generous slices of black truffle. Lastly, finish the meal with a dessert of Sweet Medley – a trio presentation of souffle, ‘milk’ and house-made ice-cream. Any item within the Vegetarian Menu prepared with egg or cheese (as will be indicated in the menu) can be prepared without, as requested.

The Valentine’s Day Chef’s Sharing Menu is available on 14 February 2019 (Thursday) at dinner from 6pm onwards, at RM398 per couple. The Vegetarian Menu is available at RM199 per pax, individually plated but can be prepared in sharing style if both diners choose this menu together. For a couple opting to be served the Vegetarian Menu for one pax, the other person will be able to enjoy the Valentine’s Day Chef’s Sharing Menu individually plated, at RM199 per pax. Wine pairing options are available for both menus, at RM148 per pax. All prices are inclusive of 6% service tax and are subject to 10% service charge.
