CÉ LA VI @ Ilham Tower

February 25, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Many of us will recognize the CÉ LA VI brand from its Singapore branch, perched atop the iconic Marina Bay Sands.  And now they are in Malaysia. Located at the 37th floor of Menara Ilham, CÉ LA VI’s is indeed one of the places to go for a date or even a nice dinner overlooking the beautiful view of the KL City Centre.

The restaurant brings you a gastronomic delight which is inspired by both Japanese and Indochinese Cuisine and also a combination of the Modern Asian Dining Concept. The deco comes simply impressed with the classy wooden look and the elegant chandelier hanging.

We started off with the deliciously prepared Unagi Roll (RM 78). Filled up your tummy with the juicy unagi in it.  It is wrapped together with the sakura denbu and cucumber. Topped with the sweet and aromatic unagi sauce.

Spinach Gomae Salad (RM 48)  is another signature here not to be missed.  The spinach is wrapped beautifully and topped with some sesame on top. Sides with the sesame sauce at the side. Mashed t

The Hot Wok Style Fried Char Kuey Teow with Prawns (RM 68) comes amazingly delicious. Filled with wok hei and with the Instagram friendly picture too. The plate of delicious char koay teow comes with the rice noodles, king prawns, fish cake, vegetable and egg together. The flavours are not too spicy and also fragrantly done. Delicious.

Next we had the Malaysian Curry “Laksa” Mee (RM 68). The bowl of laksa noodles is packed with the creamy and yet aromatic curry flavours.  The taste is not a spicy one and they are served with the king prawn, fish cake, vegetables and egg.

We end our meal with the Yuzu  Cheesecake (RM 38) . The yuzu cheesecake is amazingly good where they are made from the cream cheese, Asian fruit compote, crispy lemon tulle and yuzu.

Overall CÉ LA VI is a great place for nice wonderful meal with the scenic KL view.
