Six Senses Residences Offers a Warm Welcome Home

January 11, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

The worst part of a dream vacation is when it comes to an end … so why leave at all? Six Senses Residences has good news for avoiding post-trip blues: the opportunity to call an exquisite Six Senses location home.

Owning a residence means accessing all the unique amenities and privileges of a Six Senses hotel or resort, while retaining the intimacy of a private villa or apartment. With a strong ethos of wellness, sustainability and out-of-the-ordinary experiences, Six Senses creates places that are in harmony with the natural environment and local community. Residences echo the individual style of each location, with flexibility to add personal touches to make them feel like home.

Residents enjoy the best of all worlds – a home that can be a breathtaking tropical island, snowy mountain retreat or enviable downtown address. Built using renewable and locally-sourced materials and adhering to high standards of energy and water efficiency, residences tread lightly on the earth while providing an uncompromising level of space and comfort. It’s indulgent living as nature intended.

Commenting on the group’s emerging residential development plan, Chief Executive Officer of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas Neil Jacobs said, “With the Six Senses expanding portfolio of properties in extraordinary settings and our loyal guest base, it seemed a natural progression that we’d offer the opportunity for guests to call Six Senses home. In addition, owners are also making a tangible property investment which, in many instances, allows them to place their home into the hotel’s room inventory when not occupying it themselves.”

There are more than a dozen locations that offer Six Senses residences – some already completed and some under development. Several projects have free-standing residences while others are integrated into a hotel or resort. All offer access to a wellness lifestyle starting with healthy, clean and locally sourced food – Eat With Six Senses. This carries through to guidance on the best possible night’s rest and bedroom set up thanks to Sleep With Six Senses. It finishes with a pioneering spa offering and revolving series of visiting wellness practitioners.

Each residence is not only stylish but also functional and responsible, adhering to the Six Senses Standards for Design and Construction. Owners can see the sustainability measurements displayed at each property’s Earth Lab and participate in community programs including preserving or rebuilding natural habitats on land or in the water.

Among the free-standing residences available right now are Six Senses Residences Zil Pasyon on the private island of Félicité in Seychelles, where avant-garde cliff-top residences command extraordinary views. Six Senses Residences Con Dao on the island of Con Son in the Vietnam archipelago offers unobstructed ocean views from three- to five-bedroom villas. The romance and allure of the South Pacific is incorporated into the two- to five-bedroom villas at Six Senses Residences Fiji. And on Turkey’s dramatic Aegean coast, private villas support a guest experience particularly dedicated to well-being at Six Senses Residences Kaplankaya.

There are also several apartment-style residences. One- to four-bedroom residences plus five-bedroom duplex penthouses feature at Six Senses Residences Courchevel, set in the heart of the world-famous French ski resort. The Swiss Alps hosts prestigious apartments at Six Senses Residences Crans-Montana, with special provision for purchasing as a second residence with no restrictions for international owners. And from mountains to metropolises, Six Senses New York heralds a new direction for Six Senses into urban development and is an integral component of The XI. The hotel is scheduled for completion in 2020 and the residences are inspired by the beauty of the natural world and appointed in a lush artisanal palette of authentic materials. They sit pride of place between the Hudson River and the High Line in the heart of Manhattan.

Also on the drawing board is Six Senses Residences Forestias in the Bangna district of Bangkok, a tranquil haven within easy reach of the city’s many cultural and leisure attractions; Six Senses Residences Formosa Bay on a 4.5 mile (7 kilometer) stretch of Atlantic Ocean beachfront in Brazil; Six Senses Residences Ibiza set on the peaceful northern tip of Ibiza at crystalline Cala Xarraca Bay and Six Senses Residences Papagayo in Costa Rica’s natural eco-adventure playground. Six Senses is also heading to the warm waters and tranquil beaches of the Caribbean, with two further developments to be announced soon.
