Fond Farewell Accommodation Package Launched at The Excelsior, Hong Kong

January 22, 2019 By StrawberrY Gal - Hotel News Leave a Comment

The Excelsior, Hong Kong is offering a special accommodation package to guests wishing to experience this iconic hotel’s last days before closing on 31 March 2019. Guests booking the Fond Farewell Room Package will enjoy a memorable stay at the hotel for its final nights in operation and be invited to a grand farewell reception in the hotel lobby.

Guests can choose from three Fond Farewell Room Package options, each ideal for celebrating the glamorous four-star hotel’s Michelin-star cooking and eventful 45-year presence on the Victoria Harbour waterfront.

Located on the site of the original go-down (warehouse) of Jardine Matheson, the conglomerate most associated with the establishment of Hong Kong as a key Asian port city, The Excelsior, Hong Kong is famous for being a location in the Revenge of the Pink Panther film, starring Peter Sellers, and for its Michelin-starred Yee Tung Heen Chinese restaurant. In front of the hotel is the famous Noonday Gun, which has been fired daily at midday by uniformed Jardine Matheson staff since the 1840s.

The three options available with the Fond Farewell Room Package include:

?️Two nights’ stay in a Deluxe Harbour View Room and one Farewell Dinner for two at ToTT’s and Roof Terrace priced HKD 9,688
?️Two nights’ stay in a Deluxe Harbour View Room and one Farewell Dinner Buffet for two at Café on the 1st priced HKD 6,288
?️Two nights’ stay in a Deluxe Harbour View Room and one Farewell Dinner for two at Dickens Bar priced HKD 6,088

Each package includes an invitation to a stunning reception to be held on the farewell evening of 30 March 2019 and buffet breakfast for two at Café on the 1st on 31 March 2019.

The packages are subject to availability, valid for 29 to 31 March 2019 only and subject to a 10% service charge. For further information and reservations, visit mandarinoriental.com/excelsior.
