Wine Pairing Four Course Feast @ Passione Ristorante Italiano

December 18, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Ever since the successful opening for the Passione Ristorante Italiano, the restaurant is one of my favorite place to dine. It brings you with their authentic Italian experiences to diners and this Christmas, Italian Chef Stefano Criber invites the patrons to come and discover themselves a feast reminiscent of the hearty Christmas dinners he grew up with.

The meals showcase the combination of flavours, colours elegance and brings you with the romantic feast of the night or even a joyful meal with your friends and loved one. And this time they come up with the Wine Pairing Four Course Feast (RM 180) where this is definitely a ultimate gastronomic experience for a four course Italian meal paired with the curated premium Santori Wine. Diners will get to savour a full plethora of sumptuous Italian holiday flavours, starting from delectable starters to hearty soup and pasta, before feasting on famous roasted Iberico pork and a blissful dessert.

Starter

Salmone Marinato
Enjoy the awesomely delicious appetizers where the sliced marinated salmon in dill, peppered with sea salt and sugar and served with avocado and almonds. It is addictively good and well paired with the wines as well.

Parmiggiano Basket
Asides from that, we also enjoy the Mini Crunchy Parmiggaino basket with Puy Lentils and Cotechino. The taste comes simply unique and every mouthful is just perfect!

Soup : Brodo Di Natale
We love how the soup is done.  The traditional Abruzzo Christmas soup is prepared with chicken broth and handmade ricotta, served with spinach ravioli, diced vegetables omelette and pork meatballs. The soup is packed with flavours and it is deliciously done.

Pasta : Fagottino di Crespella
For the love of pasta, the pasta comes simply good and delicious. The dish is beautifully presented to us  where the seafood crepes comes savoury together with the chunks of prawns and lobster bisque in it..

Secondi
Iberico Wonderland
The Iberico Wonderland is amazingly prepared and cooked. We loved how the Roasted Iberico black suckling pig rolls is done. It is beautifully served and rolled with porcini mushrooms, served with baby carrots, spinach and potato. The meat comes moist and juicy. It is perfectly good and one of my favorite of the day as well.

Dessert
Sweet Santa
We ended with the beautiful insta-friendly desserts. The deliciously done desserts comes to our favourite where the luscious red sponge cake layered with white chocolate cream and strawberry compote. Amazingly delicious and something worth to have here.

The wholesome meal is completed with the glass of Sartori Wine. And in Passione; the wines are carefully selected from the fine leading wines from Italy which boasts over a century of excellence. The Wine Selection includes Sartori Pinot Grigio ( White Wine); Sartori :’Appasione Oak Rosso Delle Venezie IGT ( Red Wine) and Limoncello.

Asides from that, Passione Ristorante Italiano also offers you with the variety of Italian Roast where it comes with  the whole cuts of delectably moist and savoury boneless pork, seasoned and prepared with their chef’s homemade recipe. The meat is moist and juicy and also the cracking sound from the deliciously roasted pork skin.  The set comes with 2 choices where you can have Porchetta for Party at RM 299 ( 6-8 pax) while the Ala-Carte is at RM 59 ( 250g)

In conjunction with the festivities, Passione’s house experts have also crafted a limited time line-up of fanciful beverages. And this round, one can have the Red Christmas Rush (RM 16) where the Christmas Concotion of grape juice, morello, cherry and strawberry sauce with a dash of ginger ale.
The White Christmas ( RM30) is completed with the fragrantly refreshing shake of Plantation Rum, lime juice and coconut liqueur, served with coconut snowflakes rimmed on glass.

And this year, nothing more perfect with a contest. And this month long, Butbo Group of Restaurants, which operates Passione Ristorante Italiano, Le Pont Boulangerie et Café and Xenri Fine Japanese Cuisine, offers customers a chance to win an Elken Bio Pure K200 worth RM3,822. Running from 5th to 31st December 2018, the Butbo Christmas Giveaway requires patrons to just dine at any of the aforementioned restaurants and answer a simple question to be in the running.

In addition to the Elken Bio Pure K200 grand prize, ten consolation prizes of RM100 Butbo Group of Restaurants cash vouchers will also be up for grabs. Indeed, the perfect way to end the year on a winning note!
