Fond Farewell Dining Promotions in 2019 at The Excelsior, Hong Kong

December 20, 2018 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News 1 Comment

Since opening its door in 1973, The Excelsior, Hong Kong has been committed to achieving culinary excellence with impeccable services.  Before bidding farewell to this much-adored hotel along with its acclaimed restaurants, guests are invited to take advantage of a plethora of dining promotions and contribute to the last few months of joy at the hotel.

Victoria Harbour, a dedicated neighbour of The Excelsior, will serve as a fantastic backdrop for one last time at the Lunar New Year Fireworks Display, on 6 February 2019.  This glittering view of the hotel will be irreplaceable in the memories of locals and travellers.

ToTT’s and Roof Terrace

By popular demand, the live band performance will be back at ToTT’s. While enjoying the captivating music, guests can savour Chef’s Special Set Dinner accompanied by photogenic harbour views.  Including two glasses of Moët & Chandon Champagne, the dinner is priced at HKD 1,973 and serves Egg with Truffle and Vodka Cream, Prawn Cocktail with Marie Rose Sauce, Lobster Soup with Cognac and Roast Lamb Rack with Herb Crust.

On the fireworks night, the restaurant offers a six-course dinner featuring Fin De Claire Oyster, Pan-seared Scallop, Pancetta-wrapped Prawn and more.  Priced from HKD 1,488 inclusive of a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne, guests can enjoy a 10% early bird discount by booking online on or before 21 January 2019.

Yee Tung Heen

Yee Tung Heen, a distinctive Chinese restaurant which has just been awarded One Michelin Star for two consecutive years, will present a classic menu with an array of luscious dishes, showcasing our chefs’ sophisticated culinary techniques while taking you back in time.

Starting to serve from 20 February, highlights from the kitchen include Supreme Soup Dumpling with Assorted Seafood in Traditional Style, Deep-Fried King Prawn Toast with Salted Egg Yolk and Baked Chestnut and Sago Pudding.  Celebrate Chinese New Year with delicious handmade Traditional Turnip Pudding with Preserved Meat and Dried Shrimp or Okinawa Sweet Purple Potato Pudding.  Priced at HKD 388 and HKD 328 respectively.  Purchase on or before 18 January 2019 to enjoy a 10% early bird discount.

Café on the 1st

Known for its premium seafood buffet items, Café on the 1st will serve Boston Lobster, Alaskan King Crab Leg, Braised Seafood Soup with Bamboo Fungus, Baked Oyster, Scallop and many more.  Available on weekend dinners from January to March. Guests will also be impressed by our tempting Braised Fish Maw with Shrimp Roe and Abalone Sauce.

Start the Lunar New Year with the stunning fireworks show while savouring a scrumptious feast at Café. This Chinese New Year buffet is priced from HKD 688 per adult and HKD 408 per child. Guests can enjoy a 10% early bird discount by booking online on or before 21 January 2019.  Guests born in 1973, same as the hotel, will be gifted to a complimentary dinner buffet when accompanied by three full-paid adults in March.

Dickens Bar

Master Dickens, our refreshing house brew beer, has been the all-time favourite amongst our guests since its launch earlier this year. In January, it will continue to delight guests with a special price of HKD 46 per bottle.

Beer pairing with pie is always a comforting match. In February, the classic pie and beer combo, priced from HKD 450, will be introduced in this intimate British gastropub. In March, guests can enjoy draught beer from HKD 45 per glass.
