Taste Of Penang From RM 15 ONLY @ Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur

November 17, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

It is time to divine yourself with some Penang Delicacies. Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur brings you with the Taste of Penang where one can enjoy these delicious dishes from the local stores from Penang.

And this time Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur brings you with the exciting choices of the MUST HAVE all the way from Penang. The Penang Hawker Food Festival is happening from 16th November 2018 till 25th November 2018.

A must try here is their Char Koay Teow where their char koay teow is perfectly stir-fried with the aromatic hint and topped with the generous cockles and prawns. I am just so indulged with the aromatic hint of the koay teow and the taste of wok hei is there.

And in here, the Asam Laksa stall here is operated by the hawker that used to have a stall in Gurney Drive ( Stall No 11). They had moved to a shop at Hutton Lane serving asam laksa. The Asam Laksa is one of my favorite here. I will definitely come back for their asam laksa as they are just so delicious with the slurpy noodles top with the fragrant bunga kantan and mint leaf. This is a must for me when I am having my asam laksa.

Don’t miss out their Curry Mee! The Penang Style White Curry Mee served with the creamy coconut milk and sides with chili paste. The Curry Mee is top with the cockles, tao-pok, and prawns with it.

And of course, Penang Prawn Mee. The Aunty who sells the prawn mee here is also having a stall in Perak Road Pasar Malam operated only on Friday Night. They used to sell in Perak Road but due to their old age, they decided only operated once a week to cater for their regulars. The Prawn Mee here is packed with aromatic prawn flavours and once you sip the broth; you can smell how the flavourful taste of the soup is.

Ends your meal here with the chendol and ais kachang too. Queech your thirst with the awesome desserts here.

Overall one can come over to Corus Hotel to go for their Taste of Penang here. With the local Penangties hawker to come over to cook with affordable price, you will definitely come back for more. Not just that, with every 9 bowls/ plates of the food ordered you will get a free bowl. Just get your card chop and earn your bowl for free.
