GHOSTS AND GHOULS COME TO LIFE AT GOLDEN SCREEN CINEMAS

October 3, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

In conjunction with the excitement and joy of Halloween, Malaysia’s leading cinema exhibitor Golden Screen Cinemas kicks off an array of terrifying offerings, which will be available throughout the entire month of October. From candy giveaways to spooktacular appearances from some of the cinema world’s most terrifying monsters, GSC is making sure everyone has a screaming good time during its Screens of Terror campaign.

During this campaign, customers who catch any movie at selected cinemas may redeem candy as they enter the cinema, simply by showing their ticket stubs to staff wearing witch hats and carrying pumpkins. Dubbed the Witching Hour Weekend, this giveaway is only happening every Thursday to Saturday from 8pm onwards at selected cinema locations!

More than that, horror movie buffs will also get to freak out and take photos with iconic characters from classic horror films such as the infamous Freddy Krueger from Elm Street and everyone’s favourite vampire, Count Dracula. To add on to the fun, movie goers can also participate in the Spookiest Instagram Contest, where movie-goers who take the most creative photos stand a chance to win some amazing prizes.

Additionally, there will also be on-ground activities and roadshows throughout the campaign to celebrate Halloween in a big way. At selected cinemas from 13 October onwards, customers can also try their luck at a special Trick O’ Treat Pumpkin Booth, where they will walk away with some delicious sweet treats and prizes or receive a terrifying trick, while stocks last. Even the children are in for surprise come 19 October onwards, when they can take part in games based on the movie, Goosebumps Haunted Halloween, and win exciting prizes.

The month of October will see a host of horror films played throughout the month including:

GSC’s Screens of Terror campaign ends 4 November 2018. For more information on the campaign, please visit GSC’s website www.gsc.com.my or GSC’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/GSCinemas.
