Sari Ratu @ GVillage : Authentic Padang Food

September 19, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Indonesian food, or specifically Padang food is worth trying and I am just in love with it. Sari Ratu is one of the restaurants which is famed for their “Padang Food” is now located in the GVillage which is just next to Pappa Rich.
Sari Ratu is one of the famous brands in Indonesia where they one can dine in comfort here. The restaurant comes with the clean setup with the aircond and wifi provided as well.

The food here was fresh, authentic and tasty where I would give a double thumbs up. In here, diners can choose from the selection of the food which is placed in the glass case.

And being here, one of the dishes you must have is their signature ikan nila goreng. The deep fried talapia fish beautifully sit and served with the dark thick soy sauce on the side.
It is just so good to have them with either their red chilli sambal or their green chilli sambal where you can order them separately.

Asides from the deep fried talapia fish, the Tenggiri asam pedas & Ikan merah gulai kuning is also good. The fish are fresh and also the gulai is slightly to the sourish side but it is good.
Don’t miss out the tender juicy ayam pop and also the Ayam Kg Gulai which is so delicious. Personally, I love the Ayam Kg Gulai where I love the delicious gulai drenched on my rice with the tender juicy chicken meat.

And whats more is you can enjoy their juicy moist daging rendang minang. They are beautifully prepared and each mouthful is deliciously good.
They do have wide choices of dishes to go for such as Belut Balado, Sambal Gr Hati, Keripik Kentang, Pergedel, Sabal Hijau, Tempe Orek,Sayur Pare, Sayur Paku Pakis and many more.

After a great hearty meal, don’t miss out their smacking soothing desserts and drinks to quech your thirst. Enjoy the famous Avocado Shake and also their Es Teler. The ice teler is the Padang Version of ice kachang where they come slices of young coconut flesh, scoops of avocado, attap seeds and  trips of jackfruits , along with the rose -flavoured sago.
Overall, they served a quite a variety of the Indonesian’s Padang food which are fresh and amazingly good.
