KFC UTM Gurney Mall was built from a strategic collaboration between QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd (QSR Brands), the sole operator of KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in Malaysia and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Holdings Sdn Bhd (UTM), to enhance the commercial offerings and dining experience to the residents, students and working community around the area.

The opening KFC UTM Gurney Mall marks our 22nd KFC restaurant this year and this is in line with our goal of opening 23 outlets in total as part of KFC’s brand development strategy,” he added.
