Home / Food Review / Mun Wah Hokkien Mee @ Jalan Maharajalela

Mun Wah Hokkien Mee @ Jalan Maharajalela

September 19, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Hokkien Mee is one of the popular dish in Klang Valley and we usually have them at anything regardless of lunch or even dinner.  Mun Wah Hokkien Mee is one of the famous one and recommended by loads of people. However, I find the standard of the Hokkien Mee has declined over the years.

Hokkien Mee (RM 9 per serving)
Whats so famous is where the Hokkien Mee comes with the porky flavoured and they should be gooey, and soft. However, I find the taste is not there where they are lacked with the wok-hei and slighty jelak and slightly over-burn. And whats more the portion is pretty small too.

Stir Fried Glass Noodles.( RM 9 per serving)
The Stir-Fried Glass Noodles comes to our disappointment. The glass noodles come soggy. As for ingredients wise, it does not have much except loads of cabbage.

Deep Fried Fu Chok
The Deep Fried Fu Chok is quite good as it is crispy but it is too oily as well.

Overall, I won’t be returning as the food quality is below my expectations.
