Kom’s by KomPassion @ Isetan 1 Utama

September 24, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

When you have both Thai and Japanese food together, I would call this a heaven. Being a fan of both Thai and Japanese food, Kom by KomPassion is the place.  Opening last August 2018, Kom’s by KomPassion is the hearts from Chef Kom who is the man behind the famous  KomPassion in Damansara Kim & K2 TTDI

And now they are at Isetan 1 Utama. Kom’s is located at Level 2 inside Isetan One Utama focuses on the integration of Thai and Japanese cuisine at an affordable price. And this time; one can have the combination of Thai and Japanese here in one goal.

Thai Soba with Clear Smokey Soup
Slurps up your meal with the hot slurpy noodles. I am in love with the Thai Soba with Clear Smokey Soup. The bowl of hearty pipping hot soup, with generous ingredient and the pork ribs in it. I am in love with the noodles which make the dish even perfect. The soup comes simply flavourful and filled with the aromatic herbs in it. Nicely done. Sides with a bowl of green salad and fruits at the sides.

Premium Tom Yum Thai Soba
If you love to get some kick, grab their Premium Tom Yum Thai Soba. To me, it is not too spicy but the seafood comes simply fresh. Light kick of spiciness and yet a nice one.

Poke Don (Chicken)

Poke Don (Pork)
If you are a rice lover, do have their rice set. Enjoy their delicious poke don. Have them with the choice of chicken or beef. It is just superbly done with the healthy grain rice together with the sambal. Each mouthful is just superb and it is also pretty healthy. The set comes with some greenies (salad), fruits with a bowl of tom yam soup.

For fans of curry, enjoy their lovely Green Curry Tonkatsu. Beautifully served with the crispy golden-brown pork katsu with the healthy rice. The green curry is not too spicy but it is perfectly paired with the rice and the chicken itself.

The RIBS Chowdown
The RIBS Chowdown fares good marks too. Enjoy the delicious ribs which are cooked for hours. The meat is simply tender and juicy. Perfect for a beef lover too.

Northern Thai Gyoza
Don’t miss out the delicious Northern Thai Gyoza which is just wonderful. The Gyoza is perfectly pan-fried till perfection and you can enjoy it with the wonderful sauce prepared by the chef.

Mango Stickly Rice with Pandan Ice Cream

Coconut Chendol Ice cream
Ends your meal with some desserts. Nothing beats the Mango Sticky Rice with the Pandan Ice Cream and  The Coconut Chendol Ice Cream. This is just a perfect ending after a heavy delicious fusion Thai Delights.
