CELEBRATE THIS MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL WITH EXQUISITE MOONCAKES FROM LI YEN

September 5, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

An occasion of tradition and joyous festivities, celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with a delectable selection of traditional baked and snow skin mooncakes specially handcrafted by the culinary team at award-winning Li Yen restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur.

Making a comeback this year due to its popular demand is the Mini Snow Skin Cream Cheese with Port Wine Mooncake. A delicate snow skin encases a silky cream cheese centre, complemented by the rich and sweet port wine.

The perennial favourite Moët & Chandon Champagne Mini Snow Skin Mooncake is also available this year with its timeless variant – Moët & Chandon Rosé Imperial Champagne Mini Snow Skin Mooncake. The elegant and distinctive aroma and taste of champagne is infused into the fine snow skin and luscious lotus paste making each mooncake, most memorable for the palate.

The traditional baked mooncakes which are also popular with guests include a collection of memorable flavours to choose from such as White Lotus Paste with Double Egg Yolk, Red Bean Paste, Lotus Paste with Single Egg Yolk and the savoury Li Yen Kam Tui, filled with delicious nuts and Chinese ham.

A box of four baked mooncakes is priced from MYR106, while a box of eight mini mooncakes is priced from MYR119. These delectable mooncakes can also be purchased individually and are priced from MYR15 per piece. The mooncake promotion will be held through 24 September 2018.

Li Yen is located on Level Two of The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur. Lunch is served from 12.00pm to 2.30pm from Monday to Saturday and 10.30am to 2.30pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.  Dinner is available from 6.30pm to 10.30pm daily. For more information and orders, kindly call       Li Yen at +60 3 2782 9033 or email [email protected].
