Dorsett Wanchai Launches the “Dorsett Little Artist” Family Package

July 20, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

The award-winning family-friendly hotel, Dorsett Wanchai, Hong Kong is excited to announce a partnership with Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation and aspiring Hong Kong-based artists to launch a charitable Fantastic 4 Family package that tells “a vibrant stay for a cause”. This package includes a stay in the hotel’s newly renovated family rooms with breakfast, a collection of kid-pleasing amenities, and a chance to join the charity-based Dorsett Little Artists (DLA) program – with 35% off the Best Available Rate.

Let Art and Charity Be the Source of Joy for Every Kid Staying at Dorsett Wanchai
Dorsett Wanchai offers more than just contemporary accommodation for families. The newly launched family package is specially designed for junior vacationers with the aim to cultivate creativity, explore potential, and to make their stay in Hong Kong a meaningful and memorable one.

“As a family-friendly hotel, we always strive to provide extraordinary hotel experiences that are different than the others through product innovations and thoughtful services. And since art and charity are something we are very passionate about, it means something more when we finally get to announce a new family package that combines all these elements to offer a vibrant and fun stay alongside art and charity; we are stepping forward to an exciting new era.

It will be a wonderful feeling, especially for the little ones, knowing that they can actually make a difference to those in need while having a great time in the city. Joining like-minded partners means we can do more for the community as well as to our guests,” says Ms Anita Chan, General Manager of Dorsett Wanchai, Hong Kong.

Dorsett Little Artist Charity Program
Dorsett Wanchai’s DLA program is 100% charity-based exclusively for hotel guests with young art lovers aged between 3 and 12 years old. This programme will run for 1 year beginning in August 2018.

With a small donation of USD 5 (HK$ 40) from parents, children will get a chance to pick one of their favourite colouring pages hand-drawn by local artists and a chance to join the colouring content. As a token of appreciation for their kind act, each child will receive Dorsett’s exclusive 3-tier colouring box and colouring book, a Certificate of Appreciation, as well as a “Thank You” card from our partnering charity organization. All submissions will automatically enter the contest which will be held quarterly with the 1st first one in November 2018.

The colouring contest will split into two age groups – 3 – 6 years old and 7 – 12 years old. Three winners will be selected from each age group, and each will win a 2-night stay in Dorsett Wanchai and an exclusive Dorsett’s medal.

All the proceeds collected from the DLA programme will go to the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, which is a Hong Kong-based charity organisation (see below).
