Birch @ DC Mall

July 18, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

It is my first time visiting Birch and I am totally in love with the food here. With their successful opening at the end of July Birch has recently introduced its full-fledged dinner menu comprising of over 30 hand-selected Modern American.

Since the opening, they are become one of the popular places for brunch and day – time dining spot during weekends and weekdays.  And what make it unique is where their food is not just comfort food but brings you with the sleek, sophisticated and sexy dining experience.  And not to forget, Birch KL is the brainchild of the same team behind Huckleberry Food & Fare, Mezze and Skullduggery

We started off our meal with the delicious meal with the Birch Hummus Duo (RM 20) where the Hummus is made with the roasted carrots and roasted capsicums served with the rosemary and sea salt sourdough. The dish is perfectly good and delicious and the combination is just heavenly. I am just falling in love with every bites of it.

The Oriental Duck Rilletes Tacos (RM 26) comes to our favorites. Even though, I am not a very big fans of duck, but it is beautifully done and I don’t mind having another one more. The Soft Tacos filled with the shredded spice-marinated duck, fine romaine lettuce.  Together with it is the Mexican Tomato Salsa with julinenned cucumber. Addictively good.

Another must have is their deliciously prepared and instafriendly Smoked Quail Eggs. The lovely quill egg is perfectly smoked and top with the generous tobiko on top. Yummz.

Enjoy the Spatchcock where they are marinated with ancho chili, orange juice, chipotle powder, jalapeno powder, smoked paprika and served with the baby potatoes and cherry tomatoes. The chicken comes awesomely delicious with the tender and juicy textures.

We end our meal with the Signature Huckleberry Burnt Cheese Cake (RM 18). Enjoy the perfectly done cheese cake which we came back for few more slices. Using the premium French Cream Cheese, Organic Egg with a burnt sugar crust, the cheese cake is superbly delicious and bringing you with the melt in the mouth sensation.

Overall, Birch offers you wide choices of delights that definitely will make you going back for more. For more information about Birch, checkout their fb page: https://www.facebook.com/birchkl/
