Down To Bones @ OUG : Pork Ribs Everyday!

June 29, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

For those who love ribs, this is a place to go for. With the catching tagline “Sek Pai Guat, Hari Hari Kuat”;  you are assured that this place is the heaven of ribs.

The interior comes simply simple, nothing fancy but give you with the coffee- shop style and some vintage style.

Started our meals with their Mushroom Soup (RM 10) and Tomato Soup  (RM 10). The velvety soup was simply creamy and flavourful.

And of course, being here, the highlight is of course the Pork Ribs (RM 23) . Enjoy the delicious  Market-sourced two stick pork ribs in DTB sauce together  with the buttery mash coleslaw. We love the tender and juicy meat of the pork ribs that is just addictively good.

Aglio Porky Alio ( RM 18)

For those who are looking for combination of meat with some noodles, you can have them here too. Have a bowl of the al-dente cooked aglio – olio with the top of a creamy onsen egg. And of course with the delicious fall of pork ribs at the side which makes it even better. Nice and delicious

Asides from the meat, they do have the Mix Wings (RM 15) where the chicken wings are perfectly marinated with the choice of Hot Sauce and Honey Soy Wing. Both are simply finger lickering good.

The Lamb Shoulder (RM 25) comes out to be delicious. No gammy taste at all, and the meat remains moist and juicy as it is. Sides with fresh mint sauce, buttery mash and coleslaw.

And of course, they do have chicken set too. The Chicken 2.0 (RM 18)  comes to be one of my favorite where the chicken thigh is perfectly grilled till perfection and drench with loads of the butter sauce, sides with the buttery mash and coleslaw.

If you prefer getting something more crispy, grab their Crispy Buttermilk Fried Chicken (RM 21). Enjoy the Butter milk soaked fried boneless chicken thigh with fried onion sauce and cheese sauce, buttery mash & coleslaw. Nicely done!

Overall Down to Bones offers you with delicious ribs with affordable pricetag.
