JW Marriott Phu Quoc Offers a Chilled Escape This Summer

May 14, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Escape the summer heat on the paradise-like island of Phu Quoc. Celebrated for its sparkling emerald waters, stretches of pale sand and fuchsia sunsets, this hidden gem in Vietnam is an idyllic getaway waiting to be discovered. To welcome the summer, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay introduces a series of family-friendly activities.

The ever-changing Kids’ Program features a range of activities, from creative arts to outdoor excursions, with something for every age group. Active youngsters can take part in treasure hunting, kid’s yoga, Zumba, traditional Vietnamese Trong Com dancing or explore Kem Beach with an expert to learn more about marine life. Little visitors can also a tap into their artistic impulses with pottery classes, t-shirt painting, origami and cupcake decoration. Those who prefer indoor activities will be entertained with movies, magician shows, balloon sculpting, or Vietnamese language lessons.

Ideal for the parents looking to unwind, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay features several outdoor pools, an award-winning Chanterelle – Spa by JW, and thematic dining outlets. A range of enriching experiences are on offer throughout the year, from bike tours and yoga to water activities. Guests can try crafting their own traditional lanterns or discover the art of Vietnamese cooking.

Adventurous family outings include deep-sea fishing, snorkeling or diving, as well as excursions to the local bee, pepper, pearl or honey farms dotted around the island. The world’s longest cable car can also be found on Phu Quoc, offering a scenic 15-minute, 7,900 meter journey that connects the island’s beach resort to Hon Thom Island, known as “Pineapple Island”, home to a number of eco-friendly activities.

Guests can also end each day with a wander down a quaintly authentic Vietnamese market street. Every Friday from 6-10pm, the resort’s main street, Rue de Lamarck, transforms into the Lamarck Night Market. The Night Market features a colorful gathering of live food stalls, street performers and cultural presentations that represent Phu Quoc’s Bai Kem community. During this time, families can sample local delicacies, and observe art performers in action.

Framed with picturesque views and replete with warm and intuitive service, a stay in paradise has never been closer. “Family Summer in Paradise” at JW Marriott Emerald Bay includes:

– Accommodation in a King or twin room
– Breakfast for two adults and two children aged under 12
– Kids eat free (aged under 12, accompanied by an adult)*
– Complimentary kids’ programs
– Phu Quoc Cable Car discounts for in-house guests

“Family Summer in Paradise” is available until September 30, 2018. Rates start from USD 300++ per night*, and are subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply.

JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay’s design narrative is based on a mythical academy of learning, conceptualized by “king of luxury resorts” Bill Bensley. The resort is imbued with French architecture elements that highlight Phu Quoc’s unique historical legacy, and decked with thousands of authentic antique pieces and furniture items alluding to its whimsical vibes.  For enquiries or reservations, please contact JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay at +84 297 7377 9999 or email [email protected].
