4FINGERS Brings Underground Asian-Style Crispy Chicken Revolution to Penang!

May 14, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

4FINGERS, Singapore’s revolutionary casual dining brand known for its unique and addictive hand-brushed, crispy chicken, heads north to tingle the tastebuds of fans in Penang.

Launching at Gurney Paragon Mall, the opening will delight Penang’s chicken lovers who can now get their hands on 4FINGERS’ signature crispy chicken, lovingly hand-brushed with Asian-inspired Soy Garlic and Hot & Spicy sauces. Fans can choose from succulent wings and drumsticks, the B.F.F – 4FINGERS’ best-selling chicken burger – the Katsu Chicken Sandwich, or the rice boxes.

The launch in Penang is extra sweet for 4FINGERS, as its signature soy sauces hail from the state, created locally by a family-run producer. A total fan favourite, the sauce is fermented naturally for five months under the sun with just soybeans, salt and water. Penangites can also enjoy 4FINGERS guilt-free, as the farm-fresh chicken is made-to-order, with no added MSG.

Following its launch in Kuala Lumpur in 2015 and the subsequent launch of four more outlets across Malaysia, 4FINGERS saw overwhelmingly positive response from fans, which has prompted the move into Penang. Chicken fans will also be cluckin’ excited to learn the brand plans to open another 3 stores across Malaysia later this year.

“Recognised as one of the world’s best food destinations, Penang is a top draw for foodies around the region. 4FINGERS is proud to be launching in the city, as Penang is home to our signature soy sauces, and working with local producers has been an incredible journey. We are committed to continuing our support and promotion of Penang’s quality craftsmanship worldwide through 4FINGERS,” says Steen Puggard, CEO of 4FINGERS and mastermind behind the revolution.

“We are not about speed, but about quality, taste and experience that is against the norm. We focus on building a strong brand by pushing boundaries, from our store designs, to the uniforms, and even to the music we play. We are about the casual dining experience – and as we never stay comfortable for long, we are always on the lookout to spice up our offerings to treat our customers,” added Puggard.
