WARISAN KAMPUNG DISHES TAKE CENTERSTAGE ON THE BUFFET AT NOOK THIS RAMADAN

This holy month of Ramadan, Nook, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral’s allday dining restaurant will offer an enhanced spread of traditional Ramadan favourites at its live action stations in addition to its buffet spread of local and international cuisine for diners to break their fast at the end of the day. The Joms Buka @ Nook’s Ramadan Buffet is priced at RM138 nett per adult and is served daily from 16 May – 14 June 2018 for dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

And this year; Nook’s brings you with over 150 dishes this round on a rotational basis on the buffet spread to indulge this upcoming Ramadhan. Nook’s culinary brigade will be cooking up over 150 dishes to be served on a rotational basis on the buffet for diners to indulge in this Ramadan. The highlights of the buffet line this year are the “Gerai – Gerai” concept which is exclusively set up this Ramadhan.

Starts your meal with the wide choices of favorites and Chef’s Recommendations which includes the Kambing Golek Berempah Kuzi, Nasi Ayam dan Itik, Warung Satay, the must-have porridge dish at any Ramadan feast, the Bubur Lambuk Beratur  and a special drinks stall with local favourites – Air Bandung, Calamansi, Teh Tarik, Nescafe Tarik, Kopi Hang Tuah, Sugar Cane Juice, Date Juice and more.

The Slow Braised Beef Rendang, Nook’s signature every Ramadan, takes centre stage at the Carving Station on the buffet line. Slow cooked for over 7 hours and seasoned generously with traditional Asian spices of salt, pepper, cinnamon, star anise, diners will be in for a succulent treat with this specially prepared rendang dish which will be available daily on the buffet spread for Ramadan.
In addition to these Ramadan favourites, Nook will also be serving up casserole dishes for diners to enjoy with Steamed Rice, Nasi Hujan Panas or Nasi Minyak Jagung. The dishes will range from Kari Daging Kentang, Ikan Masak Asam Pedas Melaka, Gulai Daging Tetel, Masak Lemak Telur Itik, Kepah Masak Lemak, Sayur Rampai Goreng, and more.

Other favourites including Kerabu, Tauhu Sumbat, Gado Gado, Ulam-Ulaman, Murtabak, Roti John, Rojak Buah, Goreng Pisang, Cempedak, Keropok Lekor  will also be served on the buffet along with some delectable dessert dishes including Malaysian favourites like Kuih Muih Melayu, Sago Gula Melaka, Ais Krim Potong, and an Ais Batu Campur Station. 

Adding variety to the Joms Buka @ Nook are dishes from Chinese, Indian and Western cuisines. Diners can indulge in Wok-fried Butter Milk Prawn, Sze Chuan Style Bean Curd with Minced Chicken, Sarawak Laksa, Lasagna, Smoked Barbecue Chicken Wings and more. The spread will also include Pandan Crème Caramel, Berries Brownie Trifle, Marble Cheesecake Slices, Water Chestnut Jelly with Strawberry Pearl, amongst an array of desserts that will be served on the buffet.

 The Ramadan Early Bird vouchers for Joms Buka @ Nook will be available for sale from 1 April till 15 May 2018. Vouchers are priced at RM100 nett per voucher for purchases of 1 – 35 vouchers and RM90 nett per voucher for purchases of 36 vouchers and more. The voucher validity is only for the Ramadan period from 16 May to 14 June 2018. Diners are encouraged to call ahead for reservations prior to dining at Nook.

Credit card promotions for the Joms Buka @ Nook are also available during the Ramadan period. Diners can enjoy a 20% discount with Maybank, CIMB, Citibank and HSBC Credit Cards up to a maximum of 10 persons only.
