Cor – Blimey! @ Subang : British Style Fish & Chips

April 17, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Cor Blimey! serves the finest “British-Style” Fish & Chips in Malaysia, giving locals a real taste of authentic British food.  The restaurant bring you with cosy ambience and we spotted the row of the wooden tables and stools are stylized with Union Jack motifs. The menu comes simply simple where they are only one page menu where the highlights is the fish and chips.

Ordering it is simply easy where you select the fish, choose from the catch of the day, snapper, haddock cod or dory, then choose the plain,  lemon and herb, onion and garlic batter.

Their signature is of course their signature fish & chips where they comes with the choices of Snapper, dory, Haddock and Atlantic Cod. And we ordered their Atlantic Cod Fish which becomes one of our favorites. The cod fish comes amazingly delicious with the moist texture, mild flavor and a tender consistency.  The fish is perfectly deep fried till perfection and once a bites you can grab the crunchy bites of the outside and the inside remains moist and juicy. Sides with French fries. And what’s more, when it is sides with the sour-savory tartar sauce, the dish comes even much more flavorful.

For those looking for a sharing platter; you can opt for the sharing platter for two at RM 59.90. Have your platter serves with the goodness good dory fish fillet, tiger prawn, scampi, mussels in batter, calamari rings, fish cakes, fish fingers, homemade chunky chips , garlic butter rice and the tartar sauce.

And not just that, you can customized your dish too with your favourite selection of batter from the selection of plain (original), lemon & herbs, onions & garlic and chili lemon. Choose two of your favorites sides too where you can choose from the minted mushy peas, chunky coleslaw, and baked beans. You can even upgrade your fish to snapper (add RM 12); Atlantic Cod (add RM 18) , Haddock (add RM 19) or other catch of the day (TBA)

Apple & Berry Crumble (RM 14.90)
Ends your meal with their signature apple crumble. This is one of my favorites of the day too where the Apple & Berry Crumble is served with the Custard Sauce. Deliciously done, not too sweet and yet addictively good.

Our recommendations:

❤️Apple & Berry Crumble
