ZIPANGU’S LIVE TUNA CUTTING SHOWCASE AT SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

Zipangu is showcasing an exclusive live tuna cutting ceremony by its Japanese Head Chef Nao Takeshita on 3 March 2018 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. Diners will be served the Tuna Trio Set from the freshly-cut meat that features the merry combination of Tuna Sashimi, Tuna Sushi and Chopped Tuna on Sushi Rice at the price of RM 240 nett per person.
The first of the three dishes within the Tuna Trio Set, the Tuna Sashimi with a Trio Sauce, which is the combination of the Tosa Soy Sauce, Salted Kelp and Egg Yolk Soy Sauce that all helps to complement the tuna well. Next, the Tuna Sushi is prepared in three unique ways which are Seared Tuna, Avocado Tuna and Soy Sauce Marinated Tuna that helps to bring out the flavour of the tuna.

Lastly, the final of the three dishes of the Tuna Trio Set which is the seared, spicy sesame flavoured Tuna that is chopped and laid on sushi rice served with tea broth to further enhance the dish. 
There will also be a Tuna Steak that is prepared with a variety of vegetables as well as three different sauces which are Garlic Soy Sauce, Tartar Sauce and Vinegar Sauce. The following three tuna dishes will also be served to guests in Zipangu from 1 till 31 March during lunch and dinner:-
• Tuna Sashimi : RM 148 nett
• Tuna Sushi : RM 128 nett
• Tuna Steak : RM 160 nett (100g) / RM 230 nett (150g)
