ADVENTUROUS PARK IN SELANGOR

Selangor is a favourite tourist spot for its uniqueness and for being special in a way. It is not only about modernization in the state but also the culture that very well represents Malaysia. Not only that, sports and recreation is something not to be missed here. Let’s move on to the other faces of Selangor, the extreme fun that sports extremists will fall in love with. Beside its charming faces of great sceneries and well-developed cities, Selangor is also a favorite spot for sports lovers. The boys will definitely love these parks.

Selangor houses a few extreme parks known better as the men’s toys park. Growing rapidly in the state, the extreme parks are on the edge of becoming Malaysia’s leading outdoor activities because of the fun-thrilled excitement that it brings.

In order to promote these extreme sports come the Shah Alam Extreme Park. Better known as a skatepark, designed by Tim Altic, a professional roller skater himself, Shah Alam Extreme Park though small, is nicely designed with all kinds of skate facility, hence making them spacious enough with a lot to venture in.

“Selangor is a vibrant and exotic blend of culture, economic advancement and natural wonders. There are more adventure park in Selangor that needs to be showcase to the people around the world and we are on the move to promote Selangor at our level best” said Madam Noorul Ashikin Mohd Din, General Manager of Tourism Selangor.


1. SKYTREX ADVENTURE



This activities located in Taman Botanical Shah Alam where famous among the tourism activities in Selangor. One of the main attraction in Botanical Park is Sky trex Adventure offers variety of choices to the outdoor enthusiasts. There are three activities with different challenges which is Big Thrill where this activities you have to complete the 23 challenges within 1 hour 30 minutes until 2 hours.

Next, the little adventure with 15 challenges to be completed within 30 minutes until 1 hours and last activities is Extreme Challenge with total of 21 challenges within 1 hour 30 minutes until 2 hours to be completed. Besides that, Skytrex Adventure in Taman Botanical, they also offers you a variety of choices that you can do when you are in Taman Botanical, such as animal park, 4 seasons temperate house, tropical fruits garden and so many.


2. HIKING



Hiking is more extreme than you think. If you are seasoned climber you have, you keep trying and training to new mountains constantly. Due to several accidents, the Selangor State Forest Department now requires climbers to obtain a “Forest Entry Permit” from the District Forest Office of Selangor Tengah at a small fee of RM 5.00 per person. Selangor have many mountains you can hiking such as Broga Hill at Semenyih, Jugra Hill, Kiara Hill park and Nuang Mountain at Hulu Langat, Selangor.

3. PARAMOTOR (MOTORISED PARAGLIDING)



“I believe I can fly, I believe I can touch the sky” a very famous word in our life that always dreaming to fly up to the sky. Once considered an extreme sport, paragliding is now acknowledged as one of the safest airborne activities, thanks to continuous improvement by the experts. An increasingly popular sport among Malaysians, those who want to experience cruising through the sky have the opportunity to do so in Bukit Jugra, Banting.

Run by the Malaysian Paragliding And Hand Gliding Association, paragliding at Bukit Jugra is not just for adventure seekers, but for anyone who’s looking to add an unforgettable experience in their lives.

With its base located at Bukit Jugra’s lighthouse, those heading to Banting from the Klang Valley will need to head south along the coastal road from Klang- which should take 40 to 60 minutes. For those driving from KLIA or Putrajaya, it is a half an hour drive going north on the coastal road past Morib.

Motorised paragliding is a step up from its traditional non-powered self as it is easier to learn and qind conditions become a lesser factor. This activity not only allows you to fly in the cloud but you can also see the beauty of universe from the top view. If you really want to selfie while flying, “tandem paragliding” is the best one. Basically, just sit at the back and enjoy the view while a professional flies for you. Paragliding is located at Bukit Jugra, Kuala Selangor.

4. SUNWAY EXTREME PARK



Sunway Extreme Park is first in Malaysia that dedicated their park to these outdoor activities like jet-skiing, wake-boarding, fly-fishing, paintball, futsal, scuba diving, angling and even go-karting, dirt karts and all terrain vehicles. No harm to bring your family day for an adventurous Sunday! Bungy jumping was made available to public access for the first time in Selangor at Sunway Lagoon Theme park.

Double the fun, whereas the public can access with unlimited fun and access into various entertainment in one place. With RM 150.00 per person you can access to all parks, rides, and all the activities and attraction. However bungee jumping price is RM138.00 but it is really worth it.
