February 8, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

It is time to gather for Chinese New Year and for those who are looking for some places to lou sang, Grand Millennium would be one of the place you can visit to celebrate the year of the Dog.  Lai Ching Yuen (荔晶園) ; an award winning restaurant brings you with 3 different sets of 10 course festive menu priced from RM 1,988.00 per table of ten onwards.

Yee Sang with White Fish Baits
Starts your meal this year with the Yee Sang. Tossed for the prosperity this year where they are topped with the crispy white baits together with the fresh vegetables. Love how they had make it where it brings you with the crunchy bites of the baits with the fresh vegetables. Asides from white bait, one can have their Yee Sang with the soft shell crab, abalone, smoked duck and also jelly fish.

Double-boiled Shark Fin’s Soup with Crabmeat and Assorted Seafood
I love how the soup is done. The hearty bowl of soup is just satisfying and where they are packed with all the ingredients in it.

Wok-fried Prawns with Spicy Sauce
Love the freshness of the prawns where they are well coated with the light spicy sauce which is simply addictive. Sides with the deep fried buns. I am just loving this dish as well.

Steamed Live Catfish with Minced Ginger
Fish lover like me would not say no to this. I love the texture of the fish itself where the fish remains moist and juicy. I am perfectly in love with the fish texture.

Roasted “Pi Pa” Style Crispy Chicken with Prawn Crackers
Enjoy the awesome-licious comfort meals here. The juicy chicken with the crispy meat. I am just in love with how the chicken is done. Moist and juicy! Even the breast meat is not dry at all.

Stir-fried Hong Kong Kailan with Enoki Mushroom
Have the lovely enoki mushroom which is well deep fried till golden brown leaving and sides with the greenies.

Nian Gao
Double-boiled White Fungus with Longan and Sea Coconut
Ends your meal with the delicious white fungus with the sea coconut as well as the Nian Gao. Both are simply addictive as I love the nian gao so much. The nian gao is not too sweet and we can taste the freshness of it. Such a good ends and satisfying meals of the day.
