Joyous Chinese New Year at The Excelsior, Hong Kong

Celebrate Chinese New Year at The Excelsior, Hong Kong with a range of festive dining options in the One Michelin Starred Yee Tung Heen, Café on the 1st, and ToTT’s and Roof Terrace.

Yee Tung Heen

Recently awarded Michelin One Star, Yee Tung Heen presents a prestigious Chinese New Year pudding gift box, matching with its new status.  Yee Tung Heen’s culinary team has created two delicious homemade Chinese puddings.  Traditional Turnip Pudding with Preserved Meat and Dried Shrimps (HKD 388) is made with fresh Shandong turnip, Miyazaki dried turnip and jumbo dried shrimps.  The combination of fresh and dried turnips of different origins gives it an extra fragrance and texture.  A bed of savoury preserved meat, conpoy and shrimps is placed atop as a finishing touch.  The other flavour – Okinawa Sweet Purple Potato Pudding (HKD 328) is adorned with two gold fish on top, serving well as a blessing to diners.  Each bite of this purple dessert is filled with chewy and mildly sweet goodness.

Presenting a new take on New Year Cantonese specialties, Executive Chinese Chef Wong Wing Keung has designed a range of festive dishes, such as Deep-fried King Prawn with Sweet and Sour Sauce and Dried Cherry Blossom, Stir-fried Live South African Abalone with Miyazaki Dried Bamboo Shoots and Sautéed Cod Fish Fillet with Eight Treasures. Yee Tung Heen is the restaurant of choice for family gathering during the festive season.

Café on the 1st

Start the New Year with a scrumptious feast at Café on the 1st. Featuring fresh seafood such as Alaskan King Crab Legs, Boston Lobster, Pan-seared Foie Gras and Freshly-shucked Oysters, as well as other exquisite delicacies like Braised Sea Cucumber with Shrimp Roe, Abalone and Chicken Served in Clay Pot, Wok-fried Prawn with Chili and Sour Sauce and more, guests can enjoy a delectable meal while enjoying the stunning fireworks show on 17 February. This CNY buffet is priced from HKD 688 per adult and HKD 398 per child.

ToTT’s and Roof Terrace

Boasting a 180-degree view of Victoria Harbour, ToTT’s and Roof Terrace provides a panoramic view of the sparkling fireworks show on 17 February. Priced from HKD 1,088 inclusive of a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne, ToTT’s offers a six-course dinner featuring Fin De Claire Oysters, Seared Scallops with Cauliflower Textures and Caviar, Grilled Wagyu Tenderloin and Valrohna Chocolate Fondant, creating a striking dining experience for gourmands to feast with the eyes as well as the taste buds.
