INTRODUCING PLAN B 2.0 WITH NEW EXCITING FOOD MENU

December 10, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

As we usher in the New Year, food enthusiasts are in for a treat with new refreshing flavours at Plan B 2.0 with the launch of its new exciting menu this month.

Since 2010, Plan B has always been a popular homegrown restaurant with a unique mix of classic local dishes with an international twist. From breakfast meetings to team lunches and celebrations, it has always been the place of choice when it comes to casual dining. Plan B 2.0 is the next chapter, offering a refreshed selection of new menu options to cater to the ever-growing demands of its customers.

“A restaurant is always known for its specialties, but keeping up with what is trending is another factor which leads to a success of an establishment. Hence, we decided that a new menu for Plan B 2.0 should be introduced to cater to the evolving needs of our customers and to keep ourselves relevant to the ever-growing market”, said CEO of The BIG Group, Benjamin Yong.

The new menu was designed by Yong and his team of executive chefs, showcasing the freshest and finest ingredients which are locally and internationally sourced. The new Plan B 2.0 menu is inspired from cultures around the world.

“Pairing different influences in cuisine is a necessity to create an outstanding menu. For example, we paired local Kam Heong ingredients with Italian styled pasta to create a different texture and flavour on the palate which is truly unique,” added Yong.

With an extensive menu from starters to desserts, Plan B 2.0 features a few signature dishes such as the Japanese Grilled Salmon Rice Bowl, 2.0 Signature Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Steak and Chips, and more. Another interesting entry to their menu is their Dirty Fries selection which features 12 styles of crinkle cut fries with Plan B 2.0’s signature toppings.

Signature items on the Dirty Fries menu include:
1. Mary Poppins
• Crispy Popcorn chicken, white sauce, chicken salt
2. The Italian Job
• Beef Bolognese, cheese sauce, white sauce
3. The Mexican Wall
• Avocado, tomato sauce, cheese sauce, sour cream, jalapeno, coriander, lime
4. American Spy
• Mac & Cheese, melted cheese
5. Salty Sally
• Salted egg sauce, crispy berempah fry, sesame seeds

The new Plan B 2.0 menu also features a great selection of beverages from refreshing signature coolers to delicious coffees made from selected premium coffee beans. Plan B 2.0’s baristas are trained professionally to ensure the consistency and quality of each beverage is done right.
