Trace @ Elements Kuala Lumpur : Arteastry Hi-Tea with a View

November 2, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

A hi-tea with a perfect view is a luxury, but Elements Kuala Lumpur brings you more than that. This time, we visited them for the brand new concept of hightea which is ARTEASTRY.
The name ARTEASTRY stands for Art, Tea and Pastry. Set against the modern, artistic features of Element Kuala Lumpur, ARTEASTRY is the perfect combination for a weekend social gathering with family and friends.
And being located at level 40 of the tallest eco-friendly Hotel, TRACE restaurant & bar offers a first of its kind artistic high tea while presenting breathtaking views of the city.
Chicken Sliders in Mini Croissant with Tomato Relish
Waffle with Salmon and Crème Fraiche
Apple Duck in Savory Cone

Everything began with The ARTEASTRY experience where our hi-tea was in a contemporary bento box, beautifully decorated with synthetic grass and black, shiny modern slates. The bento box is intricately filled with dainty savory bites containing Waffle with Salmon and Crème Fraiche, Apple Duck in Savory Cone, Chicken Sliders in Mini Croissant with Tomato Relish, Tomato and Basil Macaroon, Confit Portobello Mushroom and Swiss Cheese Bruschetta.  No high tea is complete without scones. The light and fluffy Earl Grey Tea infused Scone is served with clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam.
Here it goes with the highlight. This is where the dessert is the most exhilarating part of the ARTEASTRY experience. It was presented with “The Red Splash”. It is one of the key highlights of ARTEASTRY, it is literally splashed on your table.
While you sip on your coffee or tea, the chef places a white chocolate sphere and paints an edible artwork on the table with drops and strokes of Framboise a la Mascarpone, Raspberry Confit, Raspberries, Meringue Sticks, Vanilla Soil, Sponge Fingers and Mango Chutney on a piece of newspaper-like food grade paper. To end the theatrical performance, guests are invited to pick the white chocolate sphere and drop it in the middle of the art piece, creating a delectable mess on the table.
The promotional price is RM78nett for 2 persons, starting from October until the end of November.

Thereafter, the ARTEASTRY will be priced at RM88nett for 2 persons. The ARTEASTRY high tea will only be available on weekends (Saturday & Sunday), from 1.00pm to 5.00pm at the TRACE Restaurant and Bar, in Element Kuala Lumpur.
For reservations, please call 603 2771 3351 or email [email protected]
Note: The pictures and video is taken using Huawei p10 Plus.
