Sweet – I Dessert House @ D’Piazza Mall: Traditional Chinese Desserts

October 20, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

For those who are looking for some local homemade desserts in Penang, Sweet-I Dessert House (甜在心糖水屋) is one of them. Sweet-I serves a variety of their homemade desserts and they have quite a wide range of these Chinese Style Desserts.

Some of the desserts in their list includes Bubur Cha Cha, White Fungus, ‘Gui Ling Gao’ (Herbal Jelly), Almond and Red Bean, Pulut Hitam and many more. All of them are well listed on their wall.
This round, we had the Duo which is the Peanut Black Sesame Dessert (RM 4.50). The peanut one is simply delicious with the fragrant peanut taste in it but the sesame is slightly below par.

As for the Glutinous Rice Tong Sui (RM 4.50); the portion are pretty generous with the amount we payed. The soup was filled with light gingery taste together with the chewy tong yuan that comes with it. Pretty good!
