Anantara Spa meets Oktoberfest at Anantara Riverside Bangkok

October 6, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

In conjunction with the popular Oktoberfest in Germany, this September through November, visit Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort for the ‘Enriching Beer Therapy’; a special spa package utilising the nourishing properties of the world’s oldest alcoholic beverage: beer. Unwind from city life with a 2-hour spa journey to cleanse and polish the skin, leaving you radiant and refreshed. Then, top it all off with a heady beer in-hand at the Elephant Bar.

The therapy begins with an aromatic Beer Mint Bubble Bath that cleanses the body from top to toe. Rich in vitamins, amino acids, minerals and anti-oxidants, bathing in beer has been carried out in Europe for centuries. These delicious suds are great for the skin; increasing elasticity and circulation. Don’t be afraid to dip below; your hair can benefit too. Actress Catharine Zeta-Jones once swore by beer’s hair-smoothing results, and our mint infusion leaves you with a tingling and voluptuous mane.
The journey continues with an exfoliating Beer Scrub, drawing out impurities through active ingredients like orange peel, Oryza salt rice powder and cranberry seed. Once the skin has been gently polished to a healthy glow, a warming massage awaits.
The treatment melts into an hour-long full body massage with Rice Bran Oil. One can feel the tension slip from muscles, at the same time breathing in the subtly sweet scent.
After being thoroughly spoilt, guests are treated to a frothy pint at the colonial Elephant Bar. It’s a journey that leaves you refreshed from tip to toe, to head!
The ‘Enriching Beer Therapy’ package lasts for two hours and is priced at THB 3,900++ per person and THB 7,600++ per couple. The package is available through 30 November 2017.
To reserve this journey at Anantara Spa, please call +66 (0) 2 210 9000, Ext 1563 or email: [email protected].
