A Mid-Autumn Date with Mid Valley

If you’re looking for mooncakes and a nostalgic atmosphere to be this Mid-Autumn Festival, be sure to visit South Court, Mid Valley Megamall for a mooncake celebration!  This year, Mid Valley Megamall brings you loads of exciting mooncake choices and beautiful booth decorations with latticework from an ancient era.
What do you expect from the Mid-Valley Megamall Mid-Autumn Date? 
 
1. More than 10 exclusive brands with Mid Valley Megamall
This year, you can spot many hotels and specialty stores with booths here. One can purchase affordable or premium mooncakes.
– Shangri-La Booth –
Among the hotels are Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, The Westin Kuala Lumpur, InterContinental Kuala Lumpur and many more.
– Komugi Booth-
– Dragon-I  Booth-
– Purple Cane Booth-
– Good Chen-
As for the specialty stores you can find Dragon-I, Purple Cane, Komugi, Lavender, Good Chen and many more.
Grab some awesome lanterns as well. You will find stylish, modern battery-operated lanterns and traditional ones too. Besides lanterns, they do have booths that feature tea from Purple Cane and dried meat (Bak Kua) from Bee Cheng Hiang.
Most importantly, these brands are exclusively available at Mid Valley Megamall.
 
2. A Variety of Flavours Available
 
InterContinental Kuala Lumpur came up with a wide choice of mooncakes. Choose from flavours such as their Scarlet Baked Snowskin with Pandan and Salted Egg Bean Paste, Snowskin with Pure Durian and Salted Caramel Chocolate, Bamboo Charcoal with Assorted Nut Paste, and also their Roselle Snowskin with Cheese and Spirulina Paste.
Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel brings you 12 types of baked and snowskin mooncakes, with classics such as Pandan lotus paste with single salted yolk as well as new flavours like Honey lotus paste with chocolate and more.
 Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur will surprise you with their halal certified flavours and this year their special highlights would be the Gianduja hazelnut chocolate with oolong tea.

If you are looking for durian mooncakes, you can grab them from the following booths: Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Concorde Kuala Lumpur, Lavender, Dragon-I, InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur and also The Westin Kuala Lumpur.
Each of them comes with their own version of durian mooncake. Durian lovers can head there to get their favourites. You can choose either Musang King or D24 mooncake too.
 
3. Hong Kong brand Mooncake Store is HERE
A high-class and reputable hotel from Hong Kong will have a mooncake booth for the first time in Mid Valley Megamall. For those who are big fans of The Peninsula Boutique, they have their Mini Egg Custard Mooncake available. You do not need to travel all the way to Hong Kong for one now.
4. Interesting Mooncake Workshop
Asides from purchasing mooncakes, shoppers can also participate in workshops and make their own mooncakes. Snowskin mooncake making workshops as well as lantern making workshops will be held throughout the festive season for shoppers to learn a new skill or two.
