DISCOVER SELANGOR AT MATTA FAIR KL 2017

Tourism Selangor is proud to bring in the Discover Selangor Campaign to the September Edition of MATTA Fair 2017, held at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur from 8 September until 10 September 2017.  The campaign is aimed to increase the overall domestic and international tourists’ arrival by introducing new products and services as well as increase overnight stays in Selangor.

One of the places of interest that are highlighted at the Tourism Selangor’s Pavillion this year is MinNature Malaysia. The Asia’s largest and the world’s third largest permanent indoor 3D printed miniature and trains exhibition will be bringing in their open, barrier-less concept sample display for visitors to get up close to the models. Grab their RM50 Family Package consist of 2 Adults and 2 Children, plus 2 exclusive Tree Workshops.

Enjoy a non-traditional zoo experience at Farm In The City, suitable for families who wish to escape the urban jungle and see some unusual animals up close and personal instead of cages and barricades. They will be giving out special fair promotion of up to 50% discounts for entrance tickets.

 “We will continue to concentrate on promoting Selangor tourism product for domestic market in line with our current ‘Discover Selangor’ campaign.There are several tourist destinations in the state which have great potential to be included in package tours such as Sekinchan, Sabak Bernam. There will be more promotion on customized and curated tour, where guests would be picked up at their doorsteps (hotel) and the tour guides, activities, refreshments and meals are included in the packages,” said Madam Noorul Ashikin Mohd Din, The General Manager of Tourism Selangor.

“In our quest to be an active and thriving tourism industry, we at Tourism Selangor and the Selangor government are supportive of all efforts by our local industry players to develop the attractive products that are available right here in the Heart of Malaysia. It’s a great opportunity to showcase Selangor’s best attraction during this time, as most of the visitors will be families planning trips for the school holidays during the year end,” she added.

Tourism Selangor’s Pavillion at the September Edition of MATTA Fair, Kuala Lumpur this year features Selangor’s tourist attractions such as Gold Coast Morib International Resort, Kidzania, Sky Mirror Tours & Travel, Persatuan Kemajuan Pelancongan Sekinchan, Farm In The City, Cyberview Resort & Spa, Skytrex, Jump Street, District 21 and MinNature Malaysia. These operators have been promoting their special school holiday packages as well as discounted rates not to be missed. Lucky visitors will be given special giveaways and limited edition merchandises during happy hours held. MATTA Fair KL 2017, September Edition is expecting 110,000 visitors for its 3 days exhibition.
