August 28, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Shopee today has unveiled a lineup of massive sales and exciting collaborations with some of Malaysia’s most-loved brands for its 9.9 Online Shopping Day celebration. Millions of Malaysian online shoppers will be spoiled for choices with thousands of deals at up to 90% off, from brands including Nestle, Watsons, Super, Unilever, ESH2U and Senheng, along with exciting perks from 9.9 partners like PETRONAS, KFC, Digi, 20th Century Fox, B Infinite and more.

Starting from 23 August 2017, a myriad of deals, discounts and giveaways will be launched every day, culminating in a 9.9 Online Shopping Day mega sale starting from 9 September at 12am until 11 September at 11.59pm.

“Shopee’s 9.9 Online Shopping Day is in its second year running. This year, we have gone out of our way to make this the most phenomenal sale yet. We have specially lined up thousands of sellers offering thousands of items at shockingly low prices, with free shipping across Malaysia. All these items will be covered by our Lowest Price Guarantee,” said Ian Ho, Regional Managing Director of Shopee.

Lowest Price Guarantee means that anyone who buys an item with a cheaper price on another platform will be entitled for a refund worth 120% of the price difference. “In addition, we are giving out prizes worth RM59,999 in total over the next two weeks as an added bonus to online shoppers. Be sure to look out for all the latest updates on Shopee app, as well as Shopee’s social media platforms,” added Ho.

9.9 Online Shopping Day highlights

Setting the stage for 9.9 Online Shopping Day would be Shopee’s Merdeka Sale happening from 28 to 31 August, with discounts up to 60% from famous local brands and sellers to celebrate Malaysia’s 60th independence day.

From 9 to 11 September, the Best of 9.9 will feature phenomenal discounts of up to 90% on exciting items. On 9 September only, the Upsized Shocking Sale will feature sought after items from Mobile and Gadgets, Home Appliances, Fashion, Home and Living, as well as Health & Beauty categories at shockingly low prices.

Unilever with its Unilever Fair will be offering discounts of up to 30%, with an additional storewide voucher worth 20% off. Similarly, Watsons will also be offering a 20% discount storewide. Senheng will be offering deals of up to 50% off on 99 deals, while ESH2U will be offering deals of up to 99% off, with discount vouchers worth up to RM100. Online shoppers can also look out for exciting offerings from Nestle, ASUS, Super Coffee and more throughout the 9.9 Online Shopping Day shopping season.

Added perks for online shoppers

In collaboration with KFC, every shopper who makes a purchase from 22 August to 9 September will enjoy free KFC Nuggets with their next KFC Delivery order. On 9 September, KFC will be celebrating Colonel Sander’s birthday on Shopee by giving out free 2-piece chicken combos to every 9th registered user on 9 September. On the same day, PETRONAS will be releasing its limited edition PETRONAS x Shopee gift cards that come with RM50 worth of fuel at only RM45 (limited to 3,000 units online). A further 9,000 cards will be sold at PETRONAS stations nationwide at RM50, and will come with a Shopee voucher worth RM5 each.

In collaboration with 20th Century Fox, shoppers who shop from 1 to 4 September will stand a chance to win a pair of premier tickets to watch Kingsman The Golden Circle. B Infinite will also be rewarding shoppers with giveaways of 999 and 9,999 B Infinite points, with over 57,000 points to be given out. RM50 Digi Store cash vouchers will also be up for grabs at only RM9.90.
