The title describes the legendary story of the famous Peking duck. Originated from the city of Beijing, the dish is now available at Concorde’s Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant. This most sought-after dish is featured throughout the month of June.
The Peking duck was first created and introduced by the palace chefs back in the Ming Dynasty where only exceptional quality dishes were cooked for the emperor. At Xin, this dish is presented in a 3 course set-meal consists of crispy duck skin in egg crepe, duck soup with beancurd and salty vegetables and diners may choose one main dish of their choice. Stir-fried diced duck meat wrapped with lettuce, stir-fried egg noodles with shredded duck meat and wok-fried rice with diced duck meat are some of the main dishes available.
