Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Kaeflein as the new Resident Manager for the five-star property.
Originally from Germany, Mr. Kaeflein has a Masters in Business Administration, majoring in International Business from the University of Liverpool and brings with him 15 years of luxury hospitality experience gained from various hotels, namely from Switzerland, Dubai, Egypt, China, Canada and Indonesia.
Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Kaeflein was the Resident Manager at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta Indonesia.
In his new capacity as resident manager, Mr. Kaeflein will be supporting the general manager in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the hotel as well as leading the hotel operations team to enhance their effectiveness towards guest needs and requirements.
He will also be in charge of addressing health and safety and other statutory regulations pertaining to the hotel and ensuring that events and conferences take place smoothly.
