Nestlé® Aiskrim Tradisi Acknowledges Malaysia’s Unsung Heroes During Ramadhan

June 2, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Everyday heroes walk amongst us, committed to their job of saving lives and caring for others. In today’s fast-paced society their contribution can sometimes go unnoticed. In the spirit of Ramadhan, Nestlé® Aiskrim Tradisi visited “Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Kuala Lumpur” and “PLUS Malaysia Berhad” headquarters as part of the “Sepotong Kenanganku” campaign to uncover everyday heroes and express gratitude to those who have dedicated their lives to serving the community.

Staying true to Nestlé® Aiskrim Tradisi’s tagline of ‘Ukir Senyuman dengan Sepotong Kenangan’ (Savor The Delightful Taste of Tradition), the staff who were on duty were served with local classic flavours ice cream such as Kacang Merah, Sirap Bandung and Coconut & Gula Melaka as a token of appreciation for their hardwork and dedication, while most of us were enjoying our buka puasa at home with our loved ones.

“Ramadhan is a month that elevates charity, selflessness and family togetherness. These unsung heroes put the needs of others before theirs and often sacrifice their family time for us Malaysians. They are an integral part of society but are often overlooked so we at Nestlé Ice Cream wanted to honor and thank them for their service”, said Ms. Yit Woon Lai, Business Executive Officer of Ice Cream Business Unit, Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad.
“Sepotong Kenanganku is also our way of amplifying the message of family togetherness. We hope to uplift their spirits during this festive season by creating happy moments with their colleagues in service, who are in fact much like their second family”, added Ms Yit.
Nestlé® Aiskrim Tradisi is a brand that champions the value of happy moments through family togetherness and through the Sepotong Kenanganku campaign, aims to instil a society that cares and gives. The Sepotong Kenanganku Campaign is an effort to thank the real heroes of the society.
