Father’s Day Dining at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

 It’s the day to celebrate the number one man in your life and Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur has some delightful dining offers to make this Father’s Day an extra special one for dad. Diners can enjoy a lavish array of international brunch buffet and children’s activities at Lemon Garden or indulge in an exquisite Japanese Kaiseki dinner at Zipangu.


Father’s Day Brunch Buffet at Lemon Garden



A grand and sumptuous buffet, serving gastronomic delights of Asian and Western cuisine will be taking place at the Father’s Day Brunch Buffet at Lemon Garden. The brunch buffet will be featuring signature dishes from the Italian, Indian, Malay, Chinese and Western theatre kitchens, fresh seafood including oysters, steamed tiger prawns, mud crabs and yabbies’ from the Seafood Station, fresh sashimi from the Japanese Corner, barbecued chicken wings, an array of cakes, ice-creams, tarts and ‘ice-kacang’ from the Dessert Pavilion and more. There will also be activities for children such as cookie decorations.

The Father’s Day Brunch Buffet will be happening from 12noon to 3pm on Sunday, 18 June 2017. The buffet is priced at RM 168nett per adult and RM 84nett per child.

Kyoto Kaiseki at Zipangu



The Kyoto Kaiseki at Zipangu will be the perfect dinner treat for dad to give him an unforgettable dining experience. Kaiseki, the most prestigious of Japanese cuisine infuses fresh and flavourful ingredients to create uniquely plated sumptuous dishes. Each dish is meticulously created with great detail and presented in an artistic manner.

The Kaiseki menu is made out of Boiled Mibuna Leaves topped with Laver and Mugwort Sesame Tofu, three kinds of Sashimi, Deep Fried Kamo Eggplant with Pike Conger, Grilled Salmon with Japanese Leaf Buds, Clay Pot Rice with Plum, Whitebait, Pickles and Red Bean Miso Soup, Fresh Fruits, Matcha Tea and Warabimochi.

The Kyoto Kaiseki at Zipangu is priced at RM 350 nett per set. It is available until 30 June for lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday and for dinner only on Sunday. Lunch timing is between 12noon to 2.30pm and dinner timing is between 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
