This year, Raya comes more exciting where the Raisin Administrative Committee (RAC) g had introduced an array of nutritious and delicious recipes with California Raisins. Aptly named “California Raisins Raya Manis”, they bring us with the impress with their delicious menu and dishes which are definitely meant to share with friends and family.
As for this round, California Raisins are working together with Chef Rohani Jelani to come up with the variety unique meny with the special home made dishes to go with it. And I had seen some of the great dishes using the raisins are indeed nutritious as well as great one. Some of the nice recipes includes the Savoury Nasi Kunyit “Cakes” with California Raisins, Crème Caramel with California Raisins, Sambal with California Raisins and Bunga Kantan, Bubur Cha Cha and many more.
Clinical Dietition fro the Tropicana Medical Centre also mentioned that consumption off fruits and vegetables more than 5 servings is related to 17% reduction in conary heart disease. And this round, we also get to create few menu with California Raisins where the process is indeed a fun one.
We enjoyed cooking with California Raisins where we had cooked the variety of dishes using the raisins. It is indeed a great opportunity to learn about the cooking. And thanks we won third in our cooking competition where we get the third in the cooking contest. The meals that we cooked is simple and simply easy.
We had make the kerabu mango kismis, poke bowl and also some sweet chocolates as well together with a smoothies. We learned a lot on cooking, group work and many things while preparing the food for the judge to try. It is indeed a great experience.I will share more the recipes later on.
