An Aromatic Affair in the Sky @ TRACE Restaurant, Elements Hotel KL

Enjoying the buffet at  the top with the aromatic gastronomical adventure and beautiful view. Situated at the 40th floor in Element Kuala Lumpur, TRACE restaurant and bar proudly presents Warisan Rempah Ratus dinner buffet.  Executive Chef Hashrul and his protégé are pushing the boundaries, bringing to the table a well-balanced spice infused menu that is sure to please every palate.

Guest can soak in the magnificent city views while they whet their appetite with refreshing greens and local salad such as Spiced Marinated Prawn Paste Roulade in Rice Paper with Fresh Mango Salad and Anchovies (Gulungan otak otak & Kerabu Mangga Muda dengan Ikan Bilis), Overnight Cured Sliced Beef with Cumin, Coriander and Candlenet (Gulai Daging Salai Utara Nangka Muda), Roasted Beef Salad and French Beans and Cockles Salad. The Seafood corner features Coriander Chili-Lime Prawn, Freshly Shucked Pacific Oyster, Coarse Chili, Garlic with Scallion Mussel and not forgetting a selection of sushi, maki roll and sashimi.

For the extra oomph in the taste buds, head to the Lesung Batu Mak Wan corner where guest can find all the different types of sweet-inducing spicy sambal, from Sambal belacan, to sambal belacan nenas sambal belacan mangga muda, sambal rawit, sambal tempoyak, sambal budu, sambal cencalok and sambal kelapa.

A must-try from the menu include Peha Kambing Bumbu Jawa Barongan with Briyani Rice, Aroma Aneka Ikan Panggang Daun Kunyit, Sup Rempah Utara Malatop and Assam Pedas Ikan Sembilang Seri Mersing. Also, another classic all-time favourite dish on the list is the Nasi Ambeng Ayam Rempah Nusantara – the chicken is toasted with cumin, coriander seed, glazed with honey and topped with homemade spicy sauce.

The Warisan Rempah Ratus showcases an extensive selection of cuisine inspired by Local, Chinese, Western and Japanese cuisines. From live action station, to BBQ Grill, Hot Plate, Pizza, Noodles, Claypot and Soup, the Warisan Rempah Ratus offers bountiful selection of food and it promises to be a truly memorable sky dining experience.

And don’t miss out their awesome sweet corners where you will be spoil with all the goodies and desserts which features a range of popular kuih muih, pasteries and also their version of Martabak San Francisco, Homemade Chocolate Lava Cake, Signature Carrot Lava Cake, Dates Sticky Pudding, Pengat Pisang and many more.

At the end of the buffet, guest can pick their own ground spices according to Chef’s secret recipe and replicate Chef’s signature dishes at home.
