A Latte To Live For

May 3, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Head over to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre for its new exclusive coffees; (from left to right) ‘Popcorn Latte’, ‘Jet Black’ and ‘Zesty Iced Black’, specially handcrafted by the venue’s award-winning team! Launched in conjunction with the hosting of the inaugural Malaysia Coffee Fest 2017 happening from 5 to 7 May, these delicious creations will be available for coffee aficionados at the Centre’s cosy Parkview Deck Café, from 5 to 26 May 2017. Located on Level 1 with spectacular views of the PETRONAS Twin Towers and overlooking the KLCC Park, guests can also enjoy the free WiFi available on a best effort shared basis up to 250Mbps.

Elaborating on the new drinks, the Centre’s Beverage Manager, Sean Tristan Patrick Thomson, shared, “Our ‘Popcorn Latte’ is an espresso shot and frothy milk, drizzled with popcorn syrup and topped with whipped cream and caramelised popcorns! Adding a citrus twist to the Malaysian favourite “Kopi-O Ais”, the ‘Zesty Iced Black’ is a freshly brewed black coffee infused with a hint of orange zest and palm sugar, served on ice. Last but not least, our ‘Jet Black’ is a blend of vanilla ice cream and milk, poured over espresso ice cubes and drizzled with chocolate syrup.”

He continued, “Malaysia Coffee Fest will bring together the many hip cafes and well-known local coffee players and unite coffee lovers all over Malaysia, at a celebration that promises the best coffee brews Malaysia has to offer. We look forward to welcoming all the coffee connoisseurs and turning the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) Precinct into THE Coffee Capital of Malaysia. Visitors looking for delicious local fare should also head to our West Wing Café, where they can savour our latest innovative food and beverage (F&B) creations, while enjoying the view of the KLCC Park and the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers.”

“We are delighted that Malaysia Coffee Fest chose the Centre for this unique event. We believe that our excellent location within the KLCC precinct, which attracts a high footfall from tourists, locals and coffee lovers alike, as well as great accessibility and connectivity, makes us the perfect venue for consumer shows like this,” concluded the Centre’s General Manager, Alan Pryor.
