Festive Feast @ The Cobalt Room, The Ritz-Carlton KL

May 24, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur is pleased to present its inaugural Festive Feast in conjunction with the fasting month. The chefs at The Cobalt Room will be cooking up a stellar showcase of signature dishes representative of the 13 states in Malaysia and in addition to that, Middle Eastern specialities.

Executive Chef Zaffar and his team will showcase their culinary skills in the form of an exquisite buffet experience, taking guests on a gastronomic journey through colourful Malaysia. The palates will enjoy flavourful signature dishes from Johor to Malacca, Pahang to Kelantan, Perak to Penang and all the way up north to Perlis.

Starts your meal with the variety choices of salads, kerabus, and also sambals here. Some of the choices includes the kerabu kacang botol Peranakan, Kerabu daging, ulam ulaman, kerabu manga dengan udang and many more.

Don’t miss out the well known dishes from each state such as Asam Pedas Ikan Tenggiri from Malacca, Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak from Pahang, Laksa from Kedah, Nasi Kerabu from Terengganu, Penang Rojak and more.

A must to have includes the kambing panggang which brings you with the tender and juicy meat.

I love the satay here with the choice of chicken and beef. Dipped them with the peanut sauce.

Asides, try their grilled fish as well  where you can enjoy the ikan bakar (grilled fish) from Sabah, featuring ikan cencaru, ikan keli, and tilapia.

The decadent dessert counter will feature classics for further indulgence and that include Kek Lapis Sarawak, Talam Pandan Sabah, and Cik Mek Molek from Kelantan. Not just that, they have loads of sweet bubur to choose from as well where one can enjoy the Bubur Kacang Hijau, Bubur Pulut Hitam, and Bubur Cha Cha as well.

Embark on this vibrant and delectable culinary adventure and discover or reminisce the intricate flavours and textures interwoven to create an especially memorable dining experience this festive month.

The Festive Feast at The Cobalt Room on Level One will be priced at MYR 118 nett per adult and      MYR 59 nett per child 12 years and below. For reservations and enquiries, please email [email protected] or call +60 3 2782 9099.
