Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today that it will release the WSD-F20S, a limited edition model of the PRO TREK Smart WSD-F20 wrist device for outdoor activities. The limited edition has all the same great functions as the original WSD-F20, plus many deluxe treatments including the use of sapphire crystal and ion plating, giving the watch a luxury feel. A limited edition of 500 watches will be sold worldwide starting in June 2017.
The face of the new WSD-F20S uses attractive, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The buttons, screws, buckle hardware, and free loop feature scratch-resistant ion plating in attractive blue and black finishes, while the band has a semi-gloss finish. These treatments enhance the luxury feel of the watch. Just like the WSD-F20, the new model features low-power GPS and colour map functionality that can be used offline, enabling users to track their location using just the watch. The limited edition WSD-F20S comes in a special case with a triangular lid that echoes the triangle motif used in the design of the watch and the user interfaces for its apps.
