Pasta Zanmai: A twist of Japan delights

April 13, 2017 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review Leave a Comment

Pasta Zanmai is an inspiration from the immense diversity of delicate and healthy Japanese food and the love for pasta.
They brings you with the creative dishes are created from fresh & natural raw materials, prepared to perfection from original recipes. And this round, we are in Pasta Zanmai to enjoy the delicious selection of offerings they have in both their Grand Menu and also their April Specials.

Grand Menu

Kani Mentaiko Tortilla Roll (RM 18)
Enjoy the delicious rolls where it comes with the generous ebi and fresh greens with it. Wrapped with the thin layer of omelette and topped with the scrumptious mentaiko sauce. It brings you a light blend and refreshing taste.

Kani Avocado Salad (RM 18)
Love to get a healthy salad,  This is indeed a great combination where the salad comes with the avocado and avocado brings you with the heart healthy monounsaturated Fatty Acids which is good for heart. So, how could I resist this awesome salad. With the fragrant sesame dressing, it makes it even perfect.
Ika Geso Karaage (RM 15)
Being a fans of squid, I would not say NO to this. Deep fried till golden brown with the complete crunchiness. Oishi desu!
Seafood Tomato Cream Sauce Pasta (RM 17)
One can enjoy the delicious pasta here. Creamy with the touch of sourish blend in it with the al-dente pasta just perfect serving.
Chicken Teriyaki Omu Garlic Rice (RM 16)
Not a pasta lover, try some rice here! The chicken teriyaki is perfectly done and grilled and topped with the fragrant garlic rice in it. This is just awesome!
Hotate Mentaiko Pizza (RM 26)
For those who are looking for some pizza, enjoy the crispy pizza crust with the generous serving of hotate and mentaiko on top. The pizza is just perfectly done and we don’t mind getting another portion of it.

Matcha Crepe (RM 15)
Enjoy this matcha crepes where they have the Hokkaido Red Bean Rolled Crepes with the topped of the velvety fragrant bitter-sweet green tea ice cream.
April Promotion Menu

Yam Imo Cream Soup (RM 7)
Though I am not a big fans of Yam; but this creamy yam soup brings you a distinct flavours of yam in it and the textures are creamy as well. I love the yam chips added on to it.
Spiced Chicken to Sanshu no Cheese Pasta (RM 15)
The al-dente pasta together with the spiced chicken is indeed addictively good. The smooth creamy pasta texture loaded with the cheese sauce make it even better and creamy. Matched with the Cajun Spiced Chicken which is perfectly grilled.
Takenoko to Kinoko no Cheese Dorio (RM 18)
Enjoy the Takenoko to Kinoko no Cheese Dorio which is loaded with the bamboo shoots, lotus roots, vegetables and mushroom rice gartin. For those who prefer cheesy delights, this would be a good choice to go for.
Kurumi Cake to Lavender Ice Cream (RM 12)
This is sinfully addictive and my favorite. Well paired with the fragrant lavender ice cream and sides with the light and fluffy walnut cake. Oh my! Just heavenly.
