Original Cakes is originated from Tamshui, Taiwan (臺灣淡水) . The brand started back in 2011 and now they have a few branch in Klang Valley. The hype is pretty over when I visited them back a week ago where there is no more queue or perhaps I am lucky enough where I went there on weekday morning.
To me, the Original Cake is nothing to shout about where by the look of it they are just a normal cake. I had the Cheese version (RM 25) where it is layered with the melted cheese cheddar in between. The texture just normal but it comes soft and fluffy.
Nothing much to shout about.
