Nestlé launches brand new KitKat Mini that’s BIG on taste!

April 7, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

KitKat launched the brand-new KitKat Mini today during a media event at Sunway Pyramid. KitKat Mini is the latest offering from Malaysia’s No.1 chocolate brand; the delicious snack-sized individually-wrapped fingers feature a luscious cream centre between layers of crispy wafer encased in smooth milk chocolate.

The KitKat Mini Caramel, KitKat Mini Cookies & Cream, and KitKat Mini Mocha have different personalities that suit a variety of occasions. Kit Kat Mini Caramel oozes a smooth and sensual flavour and texture, Kit Kat Mini Cookies & Cream has cookie crumbs with a light creamy filling, and Kit Kat Mini Mocha presents the intense aroma of coffee. The flavours permeate the whole snack-sized fingers, with a delicious aroma and rich taste that provide a satisfyingly delicious experience. The cream centre, crispy wafers and smooth milk chocolate coating are a delicious indulgence for any occasion.

Speaking at the launch, Sachin Goel, Business Executive Officer for Confectionery Business Unit (ASEAN Markets), Nestlé Malaysia, said “we pride ourselves in creating cool, delicious and fun ways for our fans to enjoy and elevate their break with KitKat. In today’s fast-paced world focused on instant gratification, this has become even more important. We created KitKat Mini as the perfect snack-sized finger for urbanites who want it all – convenience without sacrificing satisfaction. It’s a delicious snack that you can take a moment to enjoy anywhere – the epitome of a break that works for you, allowing you to celebrate every achievement throughout your busy day.”

Goel also spoke on the brand’s commitment to using sustainable cocoa, adding “KitKat is the first global confectionery product produced using 100% sustainable cocoa sourced through the Nestlé Cocoa Plan. This plan aims to improve lives in cocoa farming communities in Côte d’Ivoire. This is in line with our purpose of enhancing the quality of life and contributing to a healthier future. Since February 2016, KitKat in Malaysia has been using 100% sustainable cocoa to produce the KitKat product range at the factory in Chembong, Negeri Sembilan.”

The Orange Concourse at Sunway Pyramid was transformed into KitKat Break Land, complete with a live band, exciting performances, larger-than-life flavour mascots, and a giant KitKat bench. Featuring a live performance five times a day, Break Land at Sunway Pyramid is open to members of the public till April 9, and will roll out at selected malls across the country in April.

KitKat adds to their family of delicious ‘breaks’ with the introduction of KitKat Mini, which joins the beloved core range of 2- and 4-finger KitKat, KitKat Bites, the premium KitKat Rubies, the satisfying KitKat Chunky and the Japanese- inspired KitKat Green Tea. KitKat expanded into the customised confectionery market with the introduction of the KitKat Chocolatory in 2016, a concept store that offers up to 10,000 flavour combinations for a truly customised break. KitKat Bar, inspired by Chocolatory, was launched in February 2017.

The new and delicious KitKat Mini Caramel, KitKat Mini Cookies & Cream and KitKat Mini Mocha are available in 8-piece share bags in stores at all retail stores at the recommended retail price of RM 12.17.
