Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong Presents Exquisite Chinese New Year Puddings

To celebrate the Year of the Rooster, Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong is delighted to present a series of magnificent festive puddings. The puddings are available in three classic flavours, namely Chinese Turnip Cake with Conpoy, Coconut Pudding with Gold Foil and Water Chestnut Cake. They will be offered at the three hotels – Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Gateway Hotel and Prince Hotel – from 5 to 25 January 2017.

A delicious and very auspicious way to welcome the Lunar New Year, the traditional puddings are handcrafted by our hotels’ chefs using the finest and freshest ingredients. Savour an authentic taste of New Year with our Chinese Turnip Cake with Conpoy, made with Chinese sausage, Jinhua ham, dried shrimp and conpoy. Those with a sweet tooth will find our Coconut Pudding with Gold Foil and Water Chestnut Cake irresistible choices for New Year indulgence. The sweet and sticky Coconut Pudding is made of glutinous rice, coconut milk and brown sugar, and decorated festively with edible gold foil. The fresh pudding is filled with crunchy pieces of water chestnut. All puddings are elegantly packaged, making them ideal to enjoy at home or share as gifts, bringing New Year’s fortune to family, friends and business associates.
